SoD all the way. Been done with retail since Legion (and took long breaks many times before since original WotLK) done with the first cycle of classic since WotLK. Will only play SoD, fresh launch classic or classic+ in the future.
havent ran out of things to do on sod yet! My progress and what I have been doing: All competitive alternative- bis gear (still missing 4 pieces of ST bis and a theoretical shadow wrath green bis shoulders on ah! ) I switched to shadow priest this phase so been learning a lot rocking a 94.9 parse average Argent rep - Honored Hydraxian Waterlords - Halfway through neutral Timbermaw hold - Honored WSG - exalted AB - Honored Rank 7 1 Libram of Voracity Enchant - waiting until I get bis head piece for a second Bought darkmoon card decay Farmed approx 5k doing BRD solo shadow priest farm (not including 1-2k spent on darkmoon) Have tailoring maxxed, bought mooncloth bag pattern, have engineering at like 275 Finished the dual-specalization engineering quest and have redeemed ticket's each week to get all the relevant items Level 50 rogue alt has mining maxxed and enchanting at like 290 My most recent project has been trying to boost dedicated alts to 35 where I am going to level tailoring to 250 for more mooncloth CDs, I just started working on this recently but I have 5 alts ive boosted to level 16-20 (dual boxing) What I would like to accomplish by p4 in order of highest to lowest priority: Having my 5 tailoring alts online 10k g Hydrax friendly/honored (whatever I need for a douse) Argent dawn revered for the spirit buff water AB exalted for some decent upgrades out the gate Have my 50 rogue alt better geared to support our guild with additional raids! Maybe hit 300 engi and nab repair bot schematic from BRD, possibly make a gyrofreeze reflector Full bis for p3 So yeah, if you try to find things to do in sod there is plenty
You are a king for posting all those trying to prove to those apes that there is content, if you write down what they added to each phase, you will clearly see that this phase had the most content, dont worry tho, those people hating will either silently come back and never say anything about their hate wave screaming for months, or will just wait p4 to flame it too, dont bother man, vanilla is not for everyone, we will be fine with fewer people, even if the servers are full. 20 days played at 50 and 2 days played at a new alt i made (my only one)
Was a heavy retail player for years, stopped about 5 years ago. SoD made me and a few IRL friends pick it back up. Had a blast on all 3 phases so far. Still playing SoD, weekly raids with my 5 lvl 50s and leveling some more alts in the meantime. Looking forward to P4 dropping and more people filling up the severs. Congrats on 28 yrs watched!
I have two lvl 50's with full BiS on SOD but I'm still raid logging with the guild twice a week. Started Cata a week ago to fill in the time and I'm going slow, still 84 and leveling but really enjoying the experience. I imagine that there are still quite a few people like me who are playing Cata but not raiding yet.
Love the passion and love the videos! Don't pay attention at all to negative comments. People drop them with no meaning to it, they don't really care and it just makes those type of people feel good to hurt others. Just remember it means literally nothing to anyone and shouldn't be taken seriously. I'll always be a fan!
Got really burned out with progression raiding towards the end of wotlk. Was doing 2 raid nights, 4 hours each for most of ulduar and ICC. I like the short raids in Sod. Makes managing gaming in my life so much easier.
Appreciate you consistent SoD updates sir! I’m debating coming back for P4, funnily enough, what for sure would get me back is a FRESH SoD server… they broke the economy too much which is a huge part of the game and would be sweet leveling 1-60 to fully experience the class abilities, that said… incursions would need to be removed so everyone’s in the world of that server and not running circles 😂
Incursions more like FIXED the economy as everyone has a steady income IF they farm, a pve priest can farm as fast as a pve mage or warrior, something that didnt happen in era, all had their alt mages or hunters to farm, also incursions help you farm as fast as even bots, how does that ruined the economy
@@shifterashtongue2684 also, my take was in regards to leveling - the economy was primarily messed up on the release of incursions and messing up P1/P2 investments - you have a good point of having alternative options so we don’t all need a mage/hunter - only consistent route is making an alt or farming the AH flips otherwise
@@Pennyforathought the mess up of incursions were 1 day, also as you said it, people were farming gold and investing (personally i was farming a solid month in uldaman) for over a month, in the first day of a new phase, when everyone was racing to raid st, i can tell you very few people actually went there to farm gold, thats the truth, those who leveled up in incursions made 1 thousand gold and thats it. Its more the peoples wave of lies that got enormous, a guy in another video told me than people got 40-50 in 2 hours and made 6k gold in a day, this is propaganda, in wow everyone farms say 70 gph but will say they farmed 150 to make themselves look cooler, even at videos. 2 things caused inflation, 1: all those videos that say how to make endless gold afk from your city flipping (by making the other players suffer when they have to use the AH) 2: the use of auctioneer and tsm, basically 2 bot addons. Whole phase im struggling to sell an auction all my mails are full and why? Because there are endless people with those automation addons that profit silver by silver, instant undercutting 1 copper and instant changing prices when they can (for example arcanite bars are steady 54g-63g daily, 9g is from flipping, but there are many people that would even sell for 40 thru whispers) This is so sad, and all those content creators taught them how to manipulate the ah using those bot addons putting 3000 auctions daily, something you wouldnt do manually, in a need for views
@@Pennyforathought im just trying to explain to everyone, that situation was my view too till i went and run like 2000 feralas incursion quests, think that aggrend is king he cant do something so shitty as people say, then i noticed the mode was enjoyable and had endless potential (very easy to design and add more stuff in there since you design almost nothing its just phased), after putting some played in incursions after 20 25 days of p3 that i was hating too, wont lie, i understood that im just hating coz i THINK people made endless gold, and nothing else, but then i realised that i have way more gold than anyone because i was farming....
I'm taking a semi-break from SoD, but i'm back to playing Hardcore instead. I will not play Cat at all. Did love the raids in Cat, but I don't see it as Classic. if anyone does, good for you and I hope you are having fun 🤘😜🤘
I am actually still playing because of your videos. I have leveled two alts to 41 and leveling a third so that I can have moon cloth cool downs was really upset when I found out at 35 that you needed to be 41.
Well happy that I could have that influence on you, when phase 4 is popping and you’re rich and set up to make unlimited passive income, you’ll love it I promise! I hope they reduce them to 35 soon cause it makes no sense now to have the higher levels
Gratz on the views. You are my favorite wow creator. I have 2 50 almost maxed out toons on sod. I stopped playing wow when cata came out back in the day. I am love all the new content. I will go back to sod in phase 4.

Glad to hear you are considering War Within content as a side bit. I main SoD and alt Retail. I don't specifically dislike any WoW modes but I don't have time for all of them either. loved SoD P1. P2 was ok. Stopped during P3 and due to mismanagement won’t play it again. Hope for a proper done Classic+ somewhen. Without the devs being more invested in Cata Edit: I mean it‘s even just a season and my guild disbanded- no interest finding a new one. P1 showed the demand in Vanilla with a twist
SOD phase one was wonderful but incursions broke me so I left for Cata but that is just a hyper single player game and not classic. Have gone back to Turtle WoW and just love it, again.
@@mlowe826 its even worse to the core, if you think that the elements of incursions are killing mobs, bosses, grouping, questing, your pve gear matters your playstyle, you can improve your runs etc. incursions are a small version of the game on repeat, basically this guy said that playing the game ruined the game for him...
Like literally if you say doing the same dungeons or mining routes or same questing again and again broke you, i can understand it more, how does a 1 month new content broke you in a game where you play 20 years the same repetitive content and you like it
I've been taking a break from p3, I'll log occasionally to do my transmutes/cd crafts and then work on warsong rep for my alts but beyond that I'm spending most of my time on wow remix and playing some other games in my library.

Unsubscribed as soon as SoD P4 was delayed. Currently unsubscribed, and our 300ish member guild is completely dead. Had four twenty man raid teams running & no ones playing now. Tried MoP remix and it's complete garbage. World is so badly designed in MoP. The flow, and progress is fkn bad. Retail is even worse -- who is playing these versions?!? Tbh I'm glad blizz shit the bed on SoD, have been able to spend more time on the trails *wheelies off into the sunset*
a lot of us who know that SoD is dead rn went over to retail. retail after all.. is the true progression of the game. all new fresh content. having spent 5 years on classic logging in EVERY SINGLE day, it's time to go home
Retail is a hook for people like you who invested endless years into collecting mounts toys endless meaningless transmogs etc, 500 alts, one looks like this the other like that, you log endless toons to farm endless more mounts and cosmetics like tusks of manoroth or that bigass sword with half flame, apart from this the progression you say is terrible, meme stories that conflict with wow original lores, retail wows lore looks like some fail shallow netflix series, you came from there to sod, but you belong there, go farm that green "of the" item for those looks you will never use on your barbietoon
