If "Osiris" was involved in Lakshmi's idiocy, does that mean that Lakshmi was influenced by Savathun into doing what she did? Did Savathun think Lakshmi's future-seeing was a threat to her plans and set Lakshmi on a self-destructive path?
i mean in the cutscene she did boasted how she " unmasked the enemies lurking inside the city's walls " i think she meant lakshmi by this statement. But we all already know whatever she is doing is for her own agenda. hence, the Witch Queen Expansion.
I do believe Savathun played a role in Lakshmi's path. She played both sides so they ended up weakened because of it (we lost all three of the factions and many fallen)
abit, Savathun has basically played a part in all recent events including pushing the fallen to us and basically encouraging lakshmi but the city hate for the fallen was always there just not given more of a push, Lakshmi had chosen to betray everyone she wanted zavala and mithraz dead and her to be in power even if she was encouraged it was still her own desire and choices
@@icebergwalrus7775 That, savathun doesn't simply manipulate you to fulfill her designs, she simply uses the deeply buried desires in people to manipulate them, if not savathun, someone else would have pushed Lakshmi in a similar path in the future.
@@AtlasTheWolf if Lakshmi was using vex technology that allowed her to use her mind to enter the places we went with the splicer gauntlet (I forgot the name) then Savathuun would had direct access into her mind
The exotic quest is supposedly this upcoming Tuesday. I’ve never wanted an exotic weapon this badly. My only problem with time gated quests is that it’s locked over a certain amount of time. But I guess it builds up the story and the suspense. I have no reason to think the weapon will suck.
I came back to watch this clip too and I also noticed. Xivu serves the witness which is scary. Think it forshadows lightfall? involving Xivu Arath and our second darkness subclass being based around hive magic?
I just got this recommended to me, couldn't remember what Fauxsiris had done that made Saint and the others so mad at him, but if S14 was Splicer then I remember he was involved in that Vex undying night or whatever it was called. Man, this era of D2 was amazing, then we got Lightfall.
Basically, when we went to rescue Osiris on the Moon all the way back during the Shadowkeep release, Osiris lost his ghost. At his weakest moment, Savathun took the opportunity. From that point on all the way until this moment, Savathun was disguised as “Osiris” I think there was a few lore cards where Savathun talked about walking among us. I think the channel “My name is Byf” has some more in-depth videos about it.
This is when I first started playing Destiny, and I couldn't imagine a worse introduction. I didn't know who ANY of these people were, what that big talking purple blob was, why we needed to do any of the quests, nothing. But the game forced me to do it only the second time I booted the game. Starting the plot of Destiny here literally put me off the story for 2 years, I avoided it all and skipped every cutscene. Now I watch hour long videos on the lore by Byf, and excitedly await future expansions. Bungie still needs to fix the new player onboarding, because forcing them into seasonal quests when it's only the second time they've loaded the game is just terrible game design.
