I'm so glad that my burnout never hit during this season. This was my favorite season ever since i started playing (in Arrivals). This was the "Tip of the Spear" gameplay i'd come to D2 for, rebuilding a god while fighting for our existence. Saving the Watcher's Spire from a nuclear meltdown, and our learning of the wheranouts of the Veil. Season of the Seraph was peak D2 in my personal opinion, and I deeply miss fighting as an avatar of the Warmind.
Agreed. Keeping it to story points and not just cutcenes. The season story is so much more. Even lingering for a moment on the text pages provided context (and the story on the finale ship!) - Glad you showed the whole finale mission to as that in itself is an event worth witnessing. - Cheers.
My destiny burnout finally happened right at the end of season of plunder so having something to recap what I missed this season as Lightfall drops is a godsend, thanks.
Thank you for this! I sat out this season-life stuff, plus a bit burned out on the game-but I was feeling some real regret about not playing when I saw the final cutscene.
This season had better loot, story, and character writing than some DLCs in the game. Easilly ranks the best among the seasons. It did well to hype up a DLC that couldn't match its energy.
I jumped today after 2 months not playing destiny, but i jumped directly to the last mission! Why? How can i play the season's story? Man this game is so confusing lol
I wouldn’t say nothing. Rasputin and his tech/knowledge has generally been a constant threat and point of contention since day 1 of Destiny. Now? Outside of gameplay, as far as I know, we simply don’t have to worry anymore. One of many constant sources of worry in the back of our minds (whenever it’s not at the front) has finally been put to rest, and I think that’s a pretty big deal. Whether Rasputin acted for humanity or not, there was always the threat of danger in our own backyard, and now, we practically solved the last, biggest threat threat that’s _on_ Earth. We are now able to focus entirely outwardly at our greatest foes. Aside from that, yeah, it sucks we only “knew” Rasputin for such a short time, but his death was inevitable if we were ever going to leave Earth behind for any reason.
@@oivatank Rasputin's death was not inevitable his opinions may not have always aligned but his goal was always to save humanity. The only thing we would need to focus outward instead of worrying about home turf would be to bring Rasputin into the alliance, which we did. And then they killed him again
@@lunararmy1624 true, very true. I guess in all honesty, as much as I loved this season and Rasputin, I’m just glad I don’t have to hear the word “warsat” again XD
"Pass me the wrench" in an advanced sci-fi space game is height of poor and lazy writing :) Edit: Whats is this special wrench that they only one of them available in such high tech lab?
