Hey guys! Absolutely love the show. I'm a tattoo artist by trade (which is initally what caused me to stumble upon your show) but have a masters degree in clinical psychology. Loved today's episode & some of the coping skills you guys mentioned are ones that I recommend regularly to people - Journaling, moving your body, showing up for other's, doing something you're passionate about, and just getting those emotions out. All great! Definitely think it's wonderful that you guys don't shy away from the hard topics, you have no idea how many people you could be helping by just normalizing it.

I live in Greensboro NC. Local Tattooist and seasonal depression is very much real. When that weather change, holidays. The season becomes a struggle!! Adjusting and getting the therapy of your need worked on is the action that many won’t stay aware of.

Speaking as someone who didn’t die from his unalive attempt. To Hips point of “being too much of a pussy” in the moment you go through with it and live you’re like “fuck man that was so stupid! I can’t believe I’m alive!” I hope anyone who is suffering from depression reaches out. You’re not alone.

Suffering is the great teacher. It teaches us to be the friend of the now and come back in the presence. With the ego we tend to be self-centered. But when we remember to come back into the moment then depression and things that make us sad Aren’t as present when we’re in the moment ever wondered why you don’t think too much when your mountain climbing or you’re doing something exhilarating it’s because there’s no thought in those moments it’s just one step forward the next step what’s the next step. Just take your exit and come in through the now

Try MD wipe outz (last longer, softer, dont turn to shreds on a head tattoo), stopped using paper towels during the process about 1-2 years ago. Only use em for cleaning the skin/shaving due the roughness.
