I was on a call with one of my irl friends while playing Sky with her, and she got mad because all of her friends lit her candle except one person lmao.
this is litterally me now cause all my friends I made during enchantment (when I was a moth) and even the ones I spent months with just stopped playing and I’m just like 🗿 like a normal day for me is going online and seeing no friends online, not having to light any candles in constellation, and wasting candles to do the 4 player hand quest
I just saw this, and the art concept is great, it actually matches what the devs really wanted in this game. Friendship to be made, well also they wanted a popular game but they really brought out the reasons of friendship. I see that really important as the Sky community isn't that toxic and has a wholesome community, which I wish that other communities could have but they don't as most of them have pvp in it which creates drama. and this is actually important, it shows how much friendship could grow but then, in the end, it crumbles and falls apart which I really wish wouldn't happen as friendship is one of the most important things in life. other than that, your art style is awesome and really pretty!! if possible can we friend each other somehow? I'd like to play with new friends, I also hope that you're doing well with your friend and that they are back and everything is going well for them irl

I had a friend that always spended time with me and it was the best thing ever. He was one of my first friends on sky but he stopped talking to me. And when we did talk it seemed more like he wanted the conversation to end immediately. I don't know what I did but I ended up leaving him alone. We never talk anymore not even when we're in the same server. I miss it when it was just us two.

AUGH AJDHSNND I change my skykid’s outfit and I use that is my pfp(see my pfp, my gay looking skykid next to their torch) but I still do remember when that time I saw other people with their friends and I was just a lonely moth. Don’t worry though, I met my first friend in Forest and named him/her/them gud boi. I haven’t changed it since but they aren’t on anymore. I had other memorable friends, such as Ahigah from France, I helped him through Vault even though we were blocked slightly by a language barrier and I remember Air, she/he/they helped me through Eden, even when in the storm where it was raining rocks, she held out their hand If any of the people I have mentioned see this, I do grateful for finding you guys, and I’ll be waiting in Home when I can Also yes, this animation brought back my moth days when I was so clueless and found the game amazing to play. Except Wasteland, I got scared ;-;

Omg I named my first friend chill boi lmaooo and they helped me as a moth get all the wings and spirits in forest 🥺🥺🥺 since then I never saw them until two days ago I saw them online and decided to unlock chat to thank them!! It was very wholesome

Reminds me of the time i had a friend that was japanese in sky and i realy enjoyed being with her.But soon she stoped coming online and i never see her again.The last time i saw her was in an out of bounds area in valley of triumpth where i think the cutscene when you meet the valley elders takes place.Then we said goodbye for the day not knowing it would be our last. I still have a picture of her and me in sky as my lockscreen walpaper.

I love this animation, the music is great and the art is beautiful and the story is inspiring. Inspiring enough for me to want to make a story along the lines of Sky, because this is really cool! Also I have no friends in the game. Like I've befriended some random people, but they aren't online often and I get anxiety when I fly or talk with them in game so it's hard. I wish my real life friends played this game.
I have an old friend in this game and they stopped playing but I'll forever hold onto their friend star! They were my favorite and still are. They will forever stay up there in my stars and I hope maybe one day they come back to play again! Beautiful video though! Absolutely loved every second of it! ❤️
I lost my password (phone broke) after sanctuary started... Now dat i came back... Im surprised they didn't block me even after a year of my absence... Knowing that i came back they immediately went home to greet me with lots of hugs 🥰

This is the situation between me and my friend right now. I've been playing since enchantment and these days burn out is slowly creeping up to me. I don't wanna suddenly just abandon My friend who's somewhat fairly a new player having only joined when prophecy was almost ending.
This is a beautiful animation! It's absolutely stunning 💙 For the past few months and maybe years, I've struggled with a dark Strom inside myself and I find sky to be a place where I can relax and have fun but lately I've been losing motivation to go on and interact because I can feel that storm returning inside me, and this just hurts me because I know there are people in my constellation waiting for me to return and when I do I can see them being so happy and I feel ever so guilty because I'm never there for them Sorry about that rant but I do wish you the best, I know that maybe, one day your friend will return, it never hurts to wish ^^ keep dreaming and wishing on, one day your wish will be answered, don't give up!💙

i made a friend in home when i was new and we talked for a few days but one day they left and never came back. After months and months, anddd... Months. I was in home and suddenly they joined. I spam pressed the honk button and ran to them (i was a chibi :3) and we hugged. They were impressed with how much i've changed, especially with the my cape. I had farmed lots and lots of capes while they were gone and they were honestly so happy. They remembered when i was still a moth and when we got the bird call together. Now i grew. And ever since then we havent stopped talking and hanging out :3
sky cotl is my only game that i feel never left alone having somebody by your side is joyful so i tried to stay loyal of my best-friend because it has been years we havent seen eachother but i will keep the memories we had together im grateful

I had a friend of mine for 3 years who introduce me to sky, I started in enchantment season and I made tons of friends one being my other best friend after a month he left for college and he hasn’t come back yet I miss him so much to this day,, and the moment I began to play for a while they left one by one 😞 but I did make other friends too that stayed online even from light awaits or grat season and then on,, unfortunately I had to block those inactive ones you were never online for months like MANY months even the vets, it was so sad and I recently unlocked them only to find out they still never been online and I can’t block them at the moment due to a full list of friends but yea I really understand your pain :(

I made a decent amount if friends, but only 2 are still actively playing. Some might never log on again. I don’t play with those 2 often, but it’s nice seeing that they still send candles and to see how their avatar changes. I got on again after a month break, so it’s nice seeing them still active.
This hits so hard 😭😭😭🥺😔 because lately the person who adopted me as a moth and was my best friend in sky almost stopped playing.. doesn't want to see people, including me.. blew up their disc and etc. They re almost gone and it feels so painful. Idk why i cared that much, it is "just a game" but sky feels so empty now. 😔
I miss my old friends but sky really helps me I have a fear to be alone so when I join sky I fell really happy I am very glad TGC added sky to the Switch or else I would probably be very sad RN TvT
I love how at the end of the game you give up your life to save other people but is annoying when you get way farther is harder but once you are done you can play the game again to meet more people and get more stuf
