I couldn't resist commenting! I have been going through tough times. And as I think, the Lord reminds me of His faithfulness through this song. That I should believe that His love is boundless and everlasting. Waiting is an art of discipline and training my mind to trust Him more. I will wait for my season to come!! Your God of the seasons.I'm just in the winter! ..

i fell in love with the lyric "from seed to sequoia" from the first time ive ever heard it.. instead of being hooked with the chorus, this was the only line i could recall... this is lyrically the best song ive ever heard.

This just touched my soul this morning. We all have those hard moments that we just want to be over and being patient is hard when you are hurting but to know if God is taking a long time to work a great plan for us, isn’t it worth the wait? Even in pain to know something great will come after and that multiple “down” seasons are just that, temporary. I know when my mother died when I was little I never thought that could bring anything good but I think it has made me a much more empathetic person, a kinder mom (I used to be angry a lot as a kid). I miss her but she was suffering with cancer and God was kind and released her from that when she could no longer fight. Ironically the same thing that angered me and pushed me away from him as a child has made my Faith stronger than it would have ever been without that pain in my life.

It was so well received by my colleagues thankfully, all of us coming from varied backgrounds. I believe the message of HOPE in the hard times is universal, but it is one of the main strands of the Christian faith. It's the reason we flourish under persecution.
