I've been to five funerals of friends in the last month, I'm at the age where I'll be attending a lot of them. This song reminds me of fun times years ago.
you don't realise when you are young just how different life is when you start getting older. we all take life for granted - and our good health. sounds odd, but it is the 'all the birds are singing in the sky' that I will miss the most out of life when it is my turn. nature is beautiful and humanity is destroying it. glad I won't be here in 50 years to see how it will be then.

This song was one of my mams favourite songs i remember singing with her as a little girl. So when she died in 1999 we played this song at her funeral very emotional for me. But good childhood memories singing with her.
We played this as well as Supertramp, Led Zeppelin, more. He passed March, 12 1980. He was a few months away from his 18th birthday. Too this day I go to the beach, and get drift wood, and sea shells, I bring it to him, and listen to his music chatting with him.......he loved the Ocean love being in his canoe. He had his best friend with him, they loved the Ocean, but I tell myself the Ocean loved them more..... Wow!! I've kinda always known a little bit of the chorus of this song but this is my FIRST ever time of listening to this song properly and having the lyrics. I'm nearly 42!!! Yes. But Just try playing along and the listen carefully to when you think the chord change will happen. The on screen chords and lyrics are only a guideline. It gets easier the more you do it😀
@@JoanneCooperSA thanks for the reply, i have done a lot of work practicing chord changes and strumming patterns,etc. ..but i will heed your suggestion to start playing along to actual songs and feeling the music. youre channel is perfect for that.
