Seat Concepts Tall Seat Ultimate Comfort for ADV | Price and Time Frame 

Got one for Christmas and it is fantastic. As a heavier dude they made me a custom foam for my weight! It is awesome!

I am the same height 5' 11" with the same 32" inseam, and decided to try just using foam on the stock seat to simulate the seat concepts tall seat height. It was a comfortable position for my legs, but I found that since I was higher, the windshield was too low giving lots of wind buffeting and the handle bars could be a little higher because I was now leaning forward more. I did some searching and one person said that he had to buy a taller windshield after installing the higher seat which is something I wanted to avoid. Another said that the standard height Seat Concepts did the trick because it was wider in the rear and flatter from front to rear. The biggest problem with the design of the stock seat is that it is scooped out near the tank which leaves the seat sloping downward so your butt wants to slide you forward all the time. So I had my stock seat modified so as to just fill in the sloping portion with about 3/4 of an inch of foam. The end result is a flatter more comfortable seat that is no longer pushing me forward. The rear is still at the same height, but because I am not sliding forward, my knees are no longer hitting the tank bars. The only downside of modifying the original seat is that it is not wider in the rear, but the modification is quick and cheap and comfortable. They just pull the cover, fill in the front with more foam and reshape it. The whole thing costs a fraction of a seat concepts seat and looks basically the same as stock, because it is. I thought I would throw out my experience because modifying the original seat is a good option as well. Most people do not think of it, but it is cheap, effective, and maintains the style of the original while fixing the painful and uncomfortable design flaw for taller riders. And it does not introduce the need for additional and more costly mods.

I've been pondering the Seat Concepts Tall Seat for some time now. I was a little concerned about the height increase. I'm 6'2" with a 33 inch inseam so I should be ok. My big concern was when I'm off-road and muscling the motorcycle around with my feet down and whether I would not be able to push as hard. Particular when moving the Himalayan backwards. I went out to the garage and sat towards the back of the stock seat to get an idea of what the Seat Concepts seat would be like. The difference is noticeable but I don't think it will be a problem. So far I haven't had any major issues with the seat on my 2019 model but i think I'll get something to improve it. Maybe not a completely new seat like you did

Pity their not here in Australia. The prices I have been quoted, I may as well design and build from scratch my own seat, and what they will do is build their way not my way, which is your way, any now going to contact seat concepts, but I think, it would cost about $800 to get it to OZ, so I think I will use your vid to show the Aussie UP's, what I want and maybe they will be able to do it.
