How are you changing gears on the dsg? How is it possible to change gear but keep revs above 4,000 like you're doing each time in this video and then max it out to 6,000? I dont understand, I have the same car, I've no idea what you're doing, I understand the launch control part only.
@@JanoBanano1996 ofcourse you can, my car is not equipped with steering wheel pads, so i use the gear shifter. Just put it in manual mode and you are changing the gears. But if it goes to Max RPM it automaticaly upshifts.
@@timedestroyer92 yea sorry I actually was referring to paddle shifter on the steering wheel. I'm planning to order the 190 HP 2.0 TSI Seat Leon but I want to be able to shift by myself with paddle shifter. Unfortunately, this option does not seem to be available then.
My record is 5.8 sec to 100 with brand new winter tires and Shell V-Power 100 octane. There is a video in my channel, check it out :) Greeting from Bulgaria
Great engine, sadly they do not offer this for the new Leon, probably because of emission regulations. The 1.5 is significantly slower and the Cupra is significantly more expensive. Very sad.
correct it is available, but the 2.0 is much smoother than the 1.5. I've driven both mine and 1.5 (5F) and the 1.5 and 2.0 190(2021's). Of course its a bit faster as well.
It's DQ381 7-gears wet clutch. Dunno if its same in the GTI engine ? Is this the same engine as the GTI ? I think yes, both are E888 Gen 3. The 2.0 TSi 190 can get about 250-260 horsepower from just ECU mapping.
@@timedestroyer92 I have a 2018 GTI Performance and yes its the same gearbox and turbo but your 2,0 tsi is a gen 3b Budak cycle engine. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JjM14JBPdBI.html
depends on the driving style, my record is 5.99litres/ 100 km but driving 90-100 km/h only. For a period of 1200km travel distance. But my absolute record is 350 kilometers, 5.1/100.
@@timedestroyer92 and what about till now ! We are going to order Ateca, Leon St, Octavia or Karoq. So we are in dilema. The Leon ST will be FR eventually 2.0 TSI DSG. I still think Seat is level down compared to Skoda which are as well not good as VW :)
depends, my city is full of hills so my consumption is 10-11/100km, not by Board conputer but Gas Stations stats. Otherwise outside city driving => 6.5/8.5 depending how fast you drive. 360 kilometer trip driving 149 km/h is around 7l/100km gas station stats.
Hello. i have golf 6 2.0 tdi and im thinking about this version of leon :) can you tell me how loud it is inside when driving? i dont mean awesome egine sound :) i mean wind road etc
well i’ve driven golf 6 and 7 but not faster than 120 km/h. Windnoise is not that bad. You start hearing just little bit at about 180+ but its not that noticeable. On good road surface (asphalt) when im doing 200 km/h its quiter than in a BMW G20 330i (i’ve driven it).
road noise depends on the road surface and you tire size. But in normal coty driving and depending on what your tire is, it could be quite. I am on 17’s with the factory Bridgestone and they were silent when they were new. But ive managed to wear them out and now there is a very small amount of road noice. But in the end, it depends on the road surface and the quality of the tire. Hope that helps
what you hear as wind noise in the video is actualy much louder than it is in real life. But the phone microphone is much more sensitive and that is why you hear so much wind noise.
hope that helped you. you will not regret getting a leon with this engine. I assume you are looking at the new 2021 model and there it is even better and sound insulation.
@@vincenty5236 40 nM and the DSG do not compensate the weight and Horsepower fugures. You only have a Catalitic converter, where as i have catalitic convert and OPF filter which further reduces power and adds weight due to Emission regulations
