It looks like the reserve isn't connected to the glider... I'm so used to that with a traditional harness, it seems odd. Neat setup, though.

Sorry if this is a stupid question... I've been fascinated by HG and PG for years and I can't decide which I want to do. (I've never flown or had any lessons) My question is why don't you see motors on the backs of hang glider pilots in the seated position? Mosquitos and the Peabee look so clumsy, I don't like the mess. (I'm aware I'm saying this with zero experience and may be making an issue where there is non) But this setup you have here looks soooooo good. Would it benefit (or even be possible) to wear a "paramotor" on your back? The only thing that I've ever seen like this was the altigenerator by Serge Bessault. Theres also a video on YT if you search flylite 'ranger' 1986. These types of aircraft seem to of not caught on but I don't understand why? The only issue I see is the size of the motor interfering with the "rear?" wires? PS Love your videos. Eddie.

How do you get that high on an overcast day? Is it all ridge lift?
