Just beginning....I am 84 years old and I am trying to be more agile. I did your warm up exercises and now the stretching exercises. Hoping to eventually go to the next stage. Thanks for your help.
Hello from Canada, Even though it feels like minus 20 C outside, these stretching exercises help me feel more flexible and relaxed. Thanks for another great routine, Mike.
Thank you so much for your sitting exercise videos. Your exercises are well-timed, easy to follow and helps to build confidence. My brother-in-law (81) was very sick with dementia and limited mobility. We really wanted to help him build his strength because he was so sedentary. We started with your 11 minute seated stretches for each area of the body then eventually added your seated leg strengthening. We did your routines together religiously daily and saw improvement in his flexibility. Sadly he passed last night. I want you to know that he looked forward to your videos. Even with his limited movement, he was so focused and tried his best to follow your instructions from beginning to end. It perked and warned him up. Thank you for blessing the beginning of his days and providing us something so fun and vital to do together every single day. We are so grateful and wish you continued success.
Hi Cindy. I am sorry to hear about your brother in law. It is nice to hear that he found the exercise videos beneficial. Thank you for your kind words. Sending strength to you and your family.
Hi, Im a female, 60, in Ottawa. I just decided to start a stretching routine and got hooked to this video. Its so easy to follow, fun to do and no time wasted. I actually look forward to doing it. Thank you so much. Ill be browsing through your videos trying to develop a strength training/stretching routine for myself. Do let me know if you have some advice for me.
Just seen my comment from one year ago. Hard to believe it's that long since I first discovered this. Having moved house I let my practice slide. I've been stiffening up, promising myself I'd get back to a regular exercise regime but somehow not managing to do it. Today I started with these stretches. Wonderful. I feel so much better already. So pleased I've made a start. Thank you so much for posting these videos. It's like coming home to an old friend.
Great to hear Monda and thank you for sharing! and you're very welcome with it all! :) Keep up your great efforts and I look forward to hearing how you progress.
Thank you so much for this. I am a female in my 60s. I used to be very active, but because of a knee injury I haven’t been exercising. I have lost so much strength and flexibility. This routine gives me hope that I can eventually regain some of what I have lost.
I am awaiting my second TKR and am recovering from a torn meniscus. Your seated stretches are great for me. I do them every morning after the warm up and do the evening routine before bed. Thank you very much.
I am now exercising with Mike on a regular (almost daily) basis. It is great. I have a RU-vid playlist set up for each day of the week, a different playlist of two or three videos each day. Love it!!! Mike: You are awesome!!!
Started 3 months ago every day. I vary the exercises daily on a weekly turnaround. Feeling much better and hopefully with time will become more mobile.
Mike, you did it again! Combining known moves into a refreshing package. I always start my day with your AM stretch routine. Today I started with this one and came away feeling even more supple and ready for the day ahead. Your one new move--stretching the calf while seated--was great and even more effective than the slightly more difficult and demanding standing ones. Your plants look healthy and happy using the same magic touch you add to our well being. THANK YOU!
This is an excellent place for me to start! I am in my 60's and have always enjoyed working out. Unfortunately with the pandemic and other life issues, I am starting over. Thank you!
Love these...so great for seniors and perfect for me with Fibromyalgia... gentle enough for me to do and still get movement even on my really tough days. 🙏💜
Hello Mike you are doing a fantastic job with these exercise videos. I work at a senior home and we watch your videos 5 days a week. The group absolutely loves the fully seated exercises! If you have more of those on the way we will most certainly watch them!
Have just started using your videos and love them. Only possible addition could be hydration reminders. Really finding these terrific, especially for reconditioning after some health issues. thank you!
Hi Mike, You were recommended by my Chiropractor for back pain. I have enjoyed the videos for back pain but also for Seniors. I'm 76 and doing your exercises have been helpful. I've only done them for a week but I'm going to keep going to keep me going. I've tried a few of them and they get me going. Thank you.
I really love this short whole body stretching video. The instructions given during each stretch are so important to make sure our form is correct. I am an elderly woman and am using this in conjunction with a short stationery bike exercise and after a long period of no exercise, I have had no injuries. Looking forward to trying your other videos as well as increasing some cardiovascular moderate exercise.
Great video maybe next time you can incorporate more back stretches I have Fibromyalgia and it tends to sit on my back and chest and right now I'm having alot of arm pain so any arm exercises are great .keep doing these videos your very thorough and the exercises don't seem difficult
@@MoreLifeHealth Thanks! Will keep- coming back here! Your pleasant to follow and am finding helpful for me! At 72 I've neglected exercising, work, etc.
Hello again! Am doing your video rountines everyday! Thanks! Looking to find out if crossing your legs has a bad effect on sciatica????? Appreciate if you know the answer!
6:29 This series desperately needs a different exercise at this point. The exercise shown is far too much I'm sure for many people, especially those who need seated exercises. How can anyone do this stretch if they can't raise their foot higher than about three inches, let alone getting it perched on the edge of the chair they're sitting in.
Hello from Birmingham in United Kingdom. I just found this channel today. I enjoyed the seated core workout and then did this stretching routine. I found it relaxing and enjoyable. I have subscribed to your channel. I am 63 and learning to live exercise.
Thank you so much for these videos! I agree these routines are just the right amount. Can you recommend where to get a good exercise chair like the one you're using?? Thx and keep these videos coming!
Thank you for sharing these FREE Exercising. 🙋🏻♀️ QUESTION ???? How long does it take to lose muscles if you're sitting around a LOT. Does it takes days or mths. ? I've got special exercises I've got to DO from the hospital and when I get slack I feel NOT AS STRONG.
If you're not using the muscles at all, it doesn't take long Dianne. Days. It is a gradual decline however. The good news, it also doesn't take long to get it all back as you increase activity/exercise levels. Stay consistent with it all! 🙂
Chemotherapy has resulted in peripheral neuropathy an doing these stretches have helped m from stooping when walking. Thank you. Woul5 like more bac strengthening excerise ❤
God bless you mate for these videos. Very helpful for an older relative of mine. They have some physical limitations after a back surgery but they do what they're able to do as per your advice.
Thanks Mike. After what I think was an arthritis flare up in my left knee ? from the cold weather, these stretches were good for me to test my knees. Very little pain, so Panadol Osteo is helping maintain my muscle stretching.
Hi Mike I have been doing the 35 minute full workout with weights ( I use 5 -8 pounds) for several months and I really appreciate how I feel. You are excellent at your work, thank you very much!
mike, you have gotten me through the pandemic. i will be 79 in two weeks, and your videos have kept me moving. i ordered and like very much your stretch strap; feels much easier on hands than bands. i especially like this "holding stretches" video and wonder whether it can substitute for one of the warmups. mary carol
Hey MaryCarol, I have only just seen this. Good to hear the videos have helped, and I hope you had a great 79th birthday! 😀This video is better for a cool down, whilst the warm-ups move the joints through range more so are better to do before other exercises. Glad to hear you like the bands and I hope you're keeping up with it all.
