There is obviously more to the story than we know. He is a regular customer but was upset about prices and got out of the car to exchange words with her about it. That doesn't make sense. I'm guessing she has given him discounts in the past but didn't this time? I don't know- the situation seems weird. Maybe he has been asking her out on a date and she finally told him to get lost? Men who go to these bikini coffee stands and pay horrible prices for coffee because they are lonely are pathetic.

I was more so until I noticed the window was closed. It doesn’t make him any better but it’s not like she just lost control of herself if she wasn’t even assaulted. Legally speaking, this isn't assault & her best case would be to not pursue punitive damages because what he did, physically, was a petty misdemeanor. The intent to harm is not there. The intent to insult is. Now, if she has recorded audio evidence of him verbally threatening her in a highly vague manner, she still probably doesn't have a case. If I was the judge in a case brought by him in small claims I would let him know in a costly way how I felt about him wasting my time. But it is Seattle so who knows.
