One of the problems with that port is, if you have Uber or one of the other private companies, they take you to the general lot. If you haven't cruised before you don't know to tell them take you to the main terminal. sorry you had to go through that
Hey guys, Just subscribed. Like the videos a lot. Did you feel weird about just leaving your luggage? Do you feel there is adequate security for it? Cruising out of Seattle in August and these days you just can't feel too safe.
We cruised Carnival Splendor July 5, 2022 out of Pier 91. Same with luggage, no porters to help. Same as you stated. Getting in building. Getting thru 1st floor. Repeated upstairs thru security. Repeated the get boarding passed. Over 1.5 hrs of be asked the same thing re documents. Worse embarkation ever to get on the ship. Never this bad 3 times out of Galveston.
Thanks for watching! We agreed this was the worst Embarkation to get on a ship. We talked to so many people in line and they were just amazed how unorganized Seattle cruise port is. Makes us want to never cruise out of Seattle again.
It was totally different but don’t get us wrong we like to do new things but we may try a bigger class ship on Royal to see if that class is better fit for us. Thank you for watching🤗
There’s a great service called Port Valet at the airport that you can check your bags at the airport and they will take them to the ship so you can explore the city. You can also do it from the ship to the airport.
This is a line just to get to the check in area and not the sitting area waiting to board. Once we were checked in, we walked right onto the ship without any waiting. Thank you for watching!
Our check-in time was at noon. But we had a lot of people in front of us that had a 1 PM check-in time which no one with the cruise port checked anybody’s check in time it was a free-for-all with check-in‘s and luggage drop off. Thank you for watching!
7:07…Curious that you described it as feeling “small”…as compared to Oasis class? Because Quantum class ships are like the second biggest of, basically, ANY cruise ships anywhere, arent they?…Really hope the rest of the cruise was less annoying…we are going to try this next year…
The ship just seem to be a little bit smaller for us after we got a off an XL ship on Carnival but we look forward to cruising on an Oasis class ship and hopefully will do it again soon on the high seas. Thank you for watching 🤗
Yes, we know Ovation of the Seas is a Royal Caribbean cruise line. We were close to booking a Carnival cruise but booked RC instead. We have been cruising since 2010 and know the difference between cruise lines. Thank you for watching.
Why do people feel it necessary to point out the obvious? eg: you got your bed, there’s the lamp, you got your closet, the hangers, there’s your mirror, here’s the bathroom, etc. I won’t be subscribing. You both seem to be very nice people, it’s just that I can’t listen when it makes my ears hurt.
