An aerial tour "sliding" out of "Lake U" with a lap around Seattle in a 1964 Cessna 172E on straight floats flown by pilot Brandon Meadows. Includes cockpit audio. Close-up views of the city, Lake Union boaters, Space Needle, Lake Washington, Stadiums, the Ballard Locks and more. It was lots of fun - especially for pilots!

Thank you for the video. I was in Seattle in Jan 2023 and it was so beautiful. I went to the top of the Space Needle and my friend who lives there was my own personal tour guide. I also got to see, Lake View Cemetery and Bruce Lee and his son's grave, Capitol Hill, downtown Seattle, Everett, and Snohomish. There is so much more to see and do. I love Seattle and I'm from Tucson, AZ.

@Giovanni Cherico Thanks for watching! I have been to Seattle 3 times - always in summer. Washington is a very beautiful state with moist and dry climates, lush greenery and desert. I enjoyed visiting Arizona in winter to pick up my camper in Flagstaff and camping at Quartzsite and then drove through Tucson on my way back east. Hope to see lots more of the U.S. towing my airplane in a trailer cross-country behind my camper and stopping to fly around in scenic spots.

+Marco Polo Thanks for watching. It was a very nice Cessna. I especially liked the manual flaps and constant speed prop.

How'd you like it? Looking at applying for a job. My concern is just not having a high enough pay to live anywhere near seattle.

My grandfather on my dad's side of the family used to be a pilot in Panama City and he flew in seaplanes. He and my grandmother sold the business in 2009 because he had a heart attack and the doctor said he couldn't fly anymore.

+Curtis Allred Thanks for watching! Float flying is a great combination of boating and flying. I work staying healthy (diet-exercise) so I will be able to fly as long as possible. Hope that they enjoyed the business while they had it and that you got to see Panama City from the air before they sold it.

@@sopilote56 Sure did! I used to live in Panama City but I didn't live there very long. I only lived there for a few months.

+H FF Thanks for watching! If I recall correctly the aircraft was a 1964 Cessna 172E with a 180HP (O-360) engine and constant speed (variable pitch) propeller. I am pretty sure it had manual flaps controlled by a "Johnson Bar" lever between the front seats. It was a really nice 172. It performed very well in cool Seattle summer weather with 3 adults on board, no luggage and probably only partial fuel for the short flight.
