I started watching F1 in 2017 and even then I saw Vettel as a brilliant driver. In my opinion Vettel and Hamilton have equal skill, but whereas Hamilton has always had the level of support he needs to be a multiple world champion, when Vettel moved to Ferrari they expected him to magically keep his performance despite pressure from the team. If Hamilton and Vettel were swapped, Lewis would struggle like Seb is now.

returning here for i think is the last time. thank you seb. cheering you since the beginning i was crying everytime when i heard this song. when this song came out. it was 2020 and everyone has been hating on him, saying that he’s a sh*t driver and that he’s always spinning. he proved them all wrong while he was at aston. i was hoping for your 5th title more than everything. 2017 and 2018 were absolute heartbreaks for me. unfortunately the 5th title never came- but at least you gave a hell of a fight- typical sebastian vettel! thank you- my favorite driver of all time- always and forever. thank you- the greatest driver of all time. -your biggest fan-forever.

Seb wasn’t appreciated at Ferrari. He was one of the most passionate ferrari drivers that I can think of. How they treated him later in 2019 and 2020 was disgraceful, yet he still sang them a beautiful goodbye. 14 wins, third most successful Ferrari driver of all time, put some respect on this man’s name.
