we didn’t have GPS so the idea of it being simpler makes me chuckle.. things were rougher tbh .. though I do get that it was simpler because we were kids, the mechanics of getting from point A t B, accommodation, the condition of the roads, urban decay.. were far more difficult t manage

I had been doing this for awhile (starting in 1986) my tours with Dinosaur Jr were actually miserable, full of the same tedium but punctuated with a suffocating negativity that made these Sebadoh tours seem positively fun filled, zany and exciting in comparison..

@@loobiecore17 Right... It's all relative I guess, but interesting when you can be positive about something that otherwise might have been tedious. I'm looking forward to seeing you in November as the Folk Implosion.

it truly was, what I didn’t document on this tour was how we scored almost an ounce of Pacific Northwest weed (because it was actually effective and of a quality found nowhere else in the country) and got pulled over and searched in Minnesota.. miraculously they didn’t find it ..miraculous because we had split it in 3 equal parts and was in each of our bags.. and it stunk.. that was Gaffney’s last tour with the band.. he reimagined that I told the cops we were holding and it seemed to b the final blow t his involvement in the band..

@@loobiecore17 That sounds about right. In the 80s and 90s we were more into solid brown here in Ontario Canada. Was'nt hard to "look" for.
