You got to admire Rossi. Going against the best in his category on his turf, he was impressive ! As mentioned below, he was only a few seconds slower before his mistake. Great racer! Big Up to Loeb, this guy is out of this world!
Rossi is fantastic .. but not forget that they will always give to him more power performance car as is the main sponsor of Monza Rally Show, and 80% of the ticket fans come from people go to see him ...
Loeb is legend because he did WRC, finished 2nd in LeMans, owned kids at X Games, beat Pikes Peak, now races FIA GT series, next year at WTCC,... Until Loeb, there were F1 champs and rally champs. He could be both, but we'll never know...

You people are missing the point....this is NOT about who is the best. Its a show. Valentino knows he isn't as good as Loeb but why should he? His talents are in bikes. Get Loeb on a bike and he will be behind aswell. But that was never the point of this show... Now, I just saw a video Clash Ken Block vs Loeb....now THAT was stupid cause both were WRC drivers...however, only Loeb was a real and good one to actualy win prices instead of scouting the decor as Block.

I don't know why everyone keeps sayng that one is better than the other, and fighting over that! I'm a rally fan and a Loeb fan for all he has achieved! I don't follow the motogp but everytime i see Rossi driving i can´t stop watching in awe. They are both great at what they do and i think it is fantastic that Rossi drives a car the way he does, and it doesn't matter what will happen if you wait a season or give him another car or another co-driver or whatever you want!

Por supuesto, Loeb es un superserie de los rallies, lo ha demostrado ampliamente, pero a veces lees tonterías de algunos que llaman payaso a Rossi, cuando en uno de estos masters ganó al mismísimo Colin Mc Rae, y cuando ha sido rápido en todo tipo de competiciones de motor, al margen de los nueve mundiales que ya ha ganado en todas las categorías de motos.
Walter Rohrl was a genius behind the wheel, truly one of the masters of Motorsport but so is Loeb... Who cares who's better just sit back and enjoy it!

You need to consider the fact, that novadays tires, suspension or chassis technology mades drivers to use very different technic of driving than it used to be 3x years ago- and that's why we'll never get the answer who was the best driver ever :) Chapeau bas for all motosport legends :)
