The team atmosphere seems much better at Red Bull than at Mercedes or Ferrari. Besides, Red Bull has been making the best progress this season and they have proven to be capable of winning world championships. I don't understand why people are anxious to see him at Ferrari.
all you noobs are ignorant . he has 2 passports . 1 dutch 1 belgian . his mother is from belgium his dad from Netherlands. Max was born in belgium . lived with his father most of his life . and chosen to drive under the dutch flag . and now lives in Monaco and drives an Aston Martin . for an 18 year old .that's pretty ongelovelijk
If you can't imagine the pressure.... Imagine you are on the high way, and a car is 0.5 sec behind bumpering you for 45 mins wanting to pass you, but you can't let him pass you, knowing that he has the faster car. people already freak out if someone bumpers for 30 seconds.
I have to say I have been gaining more and more respect for Vettel with the way he phrases things. Very sporting. He is very astute, has a sensible out look and is actually very funny. Of curse his massive swearing fest in Russia was hilarious! :)
Kimmi has the voice from the Muppet Show cook when he is not saying Yup ti do ti do and is throwing the next chicken in the pot. Verstappen did not like to be that chicken today, great race for the tire whisperer...
This video was uploaded back in May. (Of 2016.) I have a feeling if Raikkonen was stating his opinion on Verstappen today, Raikkonen would be speaking much more loudly, and would not be praising Verstappen.
For some reason, it seems they weren't really happy about it or something..I mean if a rookie gave that performance, usually there'll be a different kind of enthusiasm in them. of course, they were looking for points for themselves but still...were they unhappy for kvyat and expecting Max to fail or am I just not seeing it the way it is?
It shows how much of a egotistical sport it is. Its I I I I me me me. What it should be is, Its amazing, the kid jumped in the redbull for the first weekend and wins the race! I dont mind loosing to such an achievement. But its just not in the dna of a race car competitor. Logical when you race your whole life to get to F1 and focus always on your own performance. I get it. Max is no different. But at the same time its a bit sad.
If your honest: It was pure luck to win this race... He was from the start the 4th wheel in the battle for P1 and Red Bull aswell Ferrari fucked the strategies up but not the one from Verstappen.. And it says everything about F1 that the faster driver cannot overtake the guy in front of him because of tyres and dirty air...
There's always some luck involved in a race. Like having the luck you have a faster car than the rest (Rosberg and Hamilton). But Max showed the talent AND the experience of a pro, to stay focused, save the tyres whilest being fast and defending very well againmst a pushing Räikkönen. Severel races later now, Max demonstrated again that he is - after the two Mercs - amongst the best of the rest. You should acknowledge that too by now.
