Option is similar to any insurance contract. Compensation is given on happening of event which is beyond the control of insurance company and person taking insurance. In option the seller (operators collectively) control and manipulate the event to their advantage. In the process small buyers loose money. Small investors should be banned from taking naked position. The person who invented option pricing formula himself lost huge amount in option trading and became poor person. In short it is one of the money making tool for operator.

tax cut karne ka nai sochenge,, margin kam karne ka nai sochenge, middle class logo ko ek aur earning opportunity mil rahi hai woh nai sochenge. Bas sohenge to sirf yahi ki bade logo aur FII walo ko kaise jyada fayda pahonchaya jay. Badi mushkil ke Trading sikhi hai, loss kar kar ke, mental stress le kar, kisi ke aankho ke number aa gaye ya kisi ke aankho ke number badh gaye, kisi ne trading ke bharose job chodi, kisi ka ghar bas trading par chal raha hai aur badi mehnat kar ke ab ja ka confidence aaya hai aur yeh SO CALLED SEBI & FIN MIN roz naye naye tarike sochte rehte hai option trading ko discorage karne ka. Jab option trading band hi karni thi to lot size kyo decreae kari, kyo new contracts launch kare? Kon sa nasha karte hai samaj me nai aata hai. Next election me me to BJP ko vote nai dene wala. Chahe jo ho jaye.

Retailers are nowadays hunting SLs of Props shops which actually use politician's money and they are making huge loses (I worked for one of those). These big sellers haven't been able to find a way to stop this. Earlier option writing used to be profitable 14-15 out of 20 days of the month or more. Earlier also most of the traders lost money and so do 90% of startups. That doesn't mean you start levying huge taxes on startups or establish a net worth criteria for starting one. Moreover the 90% traders losing money could be a misrepresenting data as well.

First, Make expiry on a single day, as it was before !! Control the activities of exchange first if SEBI wants to do something for retail option buyers !! Trading will continue, like smoking by a smoker... lot size increase, decrease will not make a difference

Need of the hour is to educate the people about trading & investment rather than reducing the peoples participation. SEBI has reduced lot sizes with the intention to increase retail participation few days back & now wants to curb them again. It seems to be destructive measures for retailers. If SEBI wants to protect retail investors then best option is to provide authentic education may be certified courses for investors & SEBI can make it compulsory for participation in market. Suppose if SEBI has done all the said measures as discussed in this video then will it yield required results? Answer will be surely No. Then what is next? Best option available is to educate retailers through authentic certified courses, Increase financial literacy etc. I am hopeful that SEBI will take constructive measures to boost retail participation & motivation. Blessing in disguise. 90% traders are loosing their wealth and savings in FnO and still wanting to continue out of hope and ego against big players. Gambling Should be discouraged. It’s in best interest of middle class retailers to stay away from options trading and invest in cash market instead. Atleast risk of going bankrupt will be avoided.

@@handsomejack8259 ofcourse technically there is risk of loss in stocks. But unlike FnO where your capital can become zero in matter of few hours, stocks or cash segment gives you time to exit. You always have time to hold your stocks till you want ( if you have chosen a quality stock ). FNO trading is zero sum game and small retail investors can actually go bankrupt as SL hunting in index option trading is for real.

अरे करना है तो कॉन्ट्रैक्ट साइज और छोटा करो ताकी कम कैपिटल वाले का लॉस कम हो। कॉन्ट्रैक्ट साइज बढ़ा कर और उल्टा रिटेलर्स की लेने पर लग गए हैं। यूएस मार्केट में माइक्रो, मिनी टाइप के कॉन्ट्रैक्ट होते हैं। जिसका जैसा कपैसिटी होता है वैसा कॉन्ट्रैक्ट लेता है। इसको कहते हैं रिटेलर्स को प्रोटेक्ट करना नाकी तुम जो कर रहे हो।
