Does anyone notice when millennium grp want to move market on expiry day the premium is high even at the expiry ends. Vice versa when they (MILLENNIUM) don't want to move the market the premium is very very low from the starting of the day. This is how they trap more and more retailers to write CE & PE at high premiums and move market by the end of day vice versa at low premium retailers don't write those CE & PE Infact retailer buy those low premium and lost their money.

I was in loss for four years in a row until I stopped working in options. I lost almost 7 lakh rupees in options. Then I realised that when I do trade in stocks positionally i incurred profits. Then I decided to do positionally in last two years I wiped out my losses dine in past and made good profits. Now I do trade in futures also some time. I am happy and a peaceful trader. Friends believe me any one who is motivating you for trading options or trying to convince you to learn it believe me he is not your wellwisher. Now it's up to you what you persue....

Chota option seller ko bahut hi problem ho jayega. Abhi yeh log bhi option buyer ban Jayega. Abhi 93% log loss karahatha next 95% ho jayega. Kuch bhala Nehi hone wala hai . Aur bhi jyada worst ban Jayega

I use to trade with 10 lakhs then shifted to 1 lakh, then 50k, 10, 5k and gradually reduced to 2k to 5k, and now i have started decent profit, approx 5k to 30k in a day, where as max loss is restricted to 2k. expiry trading is frutfull to people like me

Nearly 40 lakhs traders have lost less than 10 thousand only in span of three years as per sebi data.If we minus this number then the percentage of losing person come down drastically to 60%.If we further take notice of brokerages and massive tax the figure will look not so ominous. After all this is zero sum game 50% people will still lose. Moreover Fii and other institutions are here simply not for charity . retailer are at receiving end from all directions.

All the volume transfered to BANKNIFTY. Volatility will be seen in BANKNIFTY. Ultimately small trader will loss money. Now, small trader is buying 25 quantity, but if lot will be more, then more money will be loose. This is not Good for small trader. It is benefit for big trader.

Only thing that is relevant for a trader is weekly nifty and bank nifty expiry with a lot size of around 10 - 15 lakh. If sebi decides to go with 20-30 lakh, then it will not justify its being of unbiased.

But Options premium will be increased bcos of Monthly expiry as the time value will be high. Also it will impact sellers too as initially the theta decay will be less (as we see in the stock options upto end of 2nd week).
