One of my favorite beaches outside the Lower Mainland is Davis Bay over in Sechelt, nestled in the Sunshine Coast of BC :) It is QUIET, has WAY less people than any beach here in the Lower Mainland, and even more importantly - the water is SO clean and clear, which unfortunately is not always the case here in Greater Vancouver. It's the absolute perfect little getaway for the day, just a quick 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, and affordable too :)
Join me and the fam as we head over for a day trip during the Labour Day weekend (yes, sorry for the delay in finally posting this!) and get a sense for what this little beauty place is all about.
