SECOND DOSE COVID VACCINE (MODERNA) | MY EXPERIENCE | fever, chills, body aches 

Same this travel rule bs , i had 1st astra then 5 months later yesterday i had moderna Sore arm yesterday , went to bed with small headache and painfull arm, woke up 3 hrs later pounding headache alot of arm pains , shaking and teeth chattering , then back to sleep with lots of blankets and clothes and lots of drinks water juice , woke up after couple hrs yawned in bed and right when i yawned my mid back got destroyed , been icing all Day and sleeping now i have fever instead of chills unless i get out of bef then its chillz , im sopposed to work tommorow may not be happeneing :( Oh and im 41 180lbs 5”11 I guess these are normall side effects for these crazy vaccines so thank you all for sharing your symptoms , there no way i go to emerge incase the test is wrong and or they put tube in me , also i was really not wanting to get Vaxed , especially after the bunk astrazeneca and worrys about mixing but i wanna beable to travel and also i dont want to die from covid because i was too stubbern to listen to my doctor Neways stay safe ya”ll Have nice day 🤗🤗🤗

Only side effect was sore arm for a week. Neighbour who is 65 got awfully sick for a couple days.

Hey, I also got a 101 fever after my second dose

My fever hit a high of 101.7 after first dose (yesterday), Tylenol didn’t really help me either. Second dose gonna be interesting. I did get the JJ in March btw

So imagine those that actually ended up with Covid.. I had the moderna 1st dose and suffered a sore arm for 2 days. .My husband nothing.. and we are both 62 LOL...

I think I experienced that from the second one. I’ve never had a headache like that before. It went away after several hours and I never experienced it again, though

How are you feeling now? Because I've got my first moderna vaccine dose like 2 weeks ago but I still feel the change of my appetite i still feel full quickly after I eat. I had all the symptoms mentioned and I had a minor rash issue it's gone now.

It's good that you're vaccinated! Dont be like those "I wish I never got it because I had a fever!" Remember a vaccine isnt the only thing that causes a fever

I had the same experience but no nausea thank goodness. Fever for 36 hours straight and a weird cough for two days after fever broke. I had a COVID test to rule out that possibility. It was a wild ride but worth it.

@@grateful954 when did you finally start to feel fine? My husband got the shot, felt good enough to go out to dinner that night but as soon as he woke up next morning , fever and felt like he had the flu. Slept all day, but when he woke up the next day, it was like almost no symptoms. He said just that feeling of being weak after being in bed all day after the flu.

9 hours into my second dose and no side effects. *knocks on wood*

@@hansveen7132 My mom in law is a nurse practitioner. She knows the risks and decided she would be safer with the vaccine than with covid with her cardiac issues. I didn't make her, if that is what you are insinuating. BTW it's the old people that are succumbing to Covid at a higher rate.

I have health issues and am worried about the side effects.

@@pinkrose5796 You'll be just fine. The chills doesn't really lead to cold and cough, so just enjoy it. Eating right is most important.

Be careful with babies and fevers. You can give them a bath but in warm water, cold water could cause a seizure.

I had a VERY similar experience after the second shot. Started with a mild headache, then fever and felt dazed/foggy headed, but otherwise ok. That night though, woke up around 3 a.m. with shivering chills. So weird and miserable. Chills lasted about an hour maybe, then I went back to sleep. Woke up the next morning with zero symptoms, it was all over it, thankfully!

I had the same side effects but they've lasted 4 days I had chills as a last symptom but I feel a change of my appetite I tend to eat less and feel full quicker it's day 13

I got the 2nd Pfizer and got a fever that lasted 18 hours.

they say in 6 months people may get auto immune diseases from the injections...be health conscious as much as you can now.

I had a reaction for about 16 hours, came on 1hours after the shot, but none of my friends had reactions.it’s worth it anyway.

I have mainly had a stomach ache. I am not experiencing all the things you are dealing with. Sorry to hear that. How long has it been going on? I talked to a doctor and he said it could take up to 4.to 6 weeks for it to go away. But doesn’t sound like most people are lasting that long. So there is hope🙏

You should be fine then. Worst symptoms for most people are just a day or 2. Mine has lasted much longer. But I think I am in minority.

Hi there, got my 2nd Moderna May 7th, felt punk the next day. Then felt fine for a week, then last week my stomach started hurting, not major but hurting. I have no other symptoms than my stomach. I would not take 2nd dose again if I knew what I know now. Sorry for your problems, hope you feel better

I had chills,nausea and terrible sore arm from first shot. My son was just tired with sore arm. I am 55. My son is 20. I am interested to see 2nd shot.

My vote is Def get the second... of course I’m not a doctor but I think you should get the second dose for sure, and honestly you feeling poorly means your immune system is working super hard!

the second one will be worse...these (side) effects are the effect of the poisoness jab.Be smart,dont take the 2one.

Yea I’m honestly not sure how that works with regard to protection after the first shot. But I think it did protect me from covid but that could be just anecdotal

you need both to get the full protection -- the second shot activates memory cells which will remain in your body for a long time and recognize the virus for longer. the first shot introduces the mRNA to your body but it quickly fades and has little recognition. it's not something we can "feel" externally. please get both shots!

The first one is suppose to give you 80% protection. The second puts you at about 99%.

For some ppl it can takes till 48 to 72 hours to feel better. Each person react differently to the vaccine than other person.

Best wishes to you, 27hrs after my first dose I started having pain at injection site, low grade fever and mild headache. I'm still have pain at injection site sore arm and low grade fever still going on, 1st dose was Wednesday (3/17)
