I saw your Brandt news and wondered if you'd get the same one that you knew before, have you? As with a Rice or a Castledine et al, there's a significant 'random roll' for players between saves as different things happen to them. You have turned on your secondary cursor when out of possession. Never noticed. Must've been deliberate... what does it add?
Yes, that's Brandt from my Newcastle days - 3 years older, still high overall, unknown quantity but there was a lack of good free agents in the AMF role and I don't like these SS/CMF square pegs in round holes efforts. As for the cursor - not a clue, I wasn't even aware of it. I recall doing something similar with the manual pass arrow.
@@UncleturfI didn't realise you were still in the same career. Think I had Brandt at roughly the same stage - 3-5 years into a save-world - and he was clearly in decline. Did well for half a season then was dramatically struggling to last until half time. The cursor is weird. That's why I thought you were on a new save, maybe on a new machine. You have to specifically go into options and turn it on/off. Maybe you've always had it and I didn't notice. I don't like it because it adds clutter to the screen.
@@GregDownsI must have turned it on but for what reason I can't think, it's more of a 2 player thing - maybe that was it, playing with mini turf one day? As for the career - yes. Newcastle for the first two seasons then sacked, Nancy since. After the opening day defeat to Lille (top of the league 9 pts from 9) I got the cut scene 'press crucifying us, laughing stock etc' - after a narrow 2-1 defeat! After beating PSG and Montpellier the odious toad came in to tell me we were surpassing all expectations. I've just finished reading Pat Nevin's book that covers his spell at Motherwell - it all rings true to such moments.
@@abbeyhilMy Rice continues to impress me. Just when you think his time is up (as his stats are so modest compared with others - he is still relatively young) he goes and shows another aspect to his game.
