i’ve been trying anti-depressants for my tourettic ocd and severe anxiety for about 15 years now, with nothing helping. i’ve tried many kinds in every category with no luck. i recently tried effexor and got horrible RLS which hasn’t gone away since i’ve stopped the effexor, and am getting so frustrated. i don’t understand why a psychiatrist hasn’t tried something completely different like an antipsychotic with me. i’m losing hope and am so tired. it’s also worth to note that i’ve been seeing therapists and counselors the whole time. anything that especially helps for tourettic ocd? thank you for this video! take care.
i think Antipsychotics are a very bad idea to treat any kind of depressive or obsessive disorders. They cause massive brain damage and should only be used in the field of psychosis. This is of course just my opinion
@@herbertgoldstein1156 Of course I will. I've consulted 4 neuropsycatrists and all of them told the same thing that there is no conclusive evidence that the meds cause any brain damage. I guess they are smarter than a google search. If they had such side effects, they wouldn't be so widespreadly used.
