I Rode On A 2nd Generation IC CE In My Freshman Year In High School In 2016 It Was Powered By Propane It Was A 2017 IC CE Propane It Was Indiana Spec With Full LED Lighting And Dual LED Stop Arms
Two things that caught my attention one some of these buses have two stop signs And two some of them have entrance doors on both sides I've never seen those before
I never got to ride bus 3645, so that’s why there’s no ride video of it. I have ride along videos of C2 buses 226, 229, 236, 237, and 238 though. I have a ride along video of C2 bus 67 that I have yet to upload.
IC's are simply, the best. Something like 45% of all buses currently in service are IC. They are built on strong chassis, sturdy bodies that exceed national safety standards, have a simple design and they are easy to operate and to maintain. They actually look like the classic school bus, unlike Thomas's C2. Bluebird holds the second largest share of buses on the road.
Ic CEs also feel solid and ride well. The air suspension is the best too. Thomas also makes great buses. I miss the DT’s though. I feel like if it weren’t for gimmicky emissions control systems they’d stay around a few more years.
