Devin Scullion, 19, suffers from progeria; a disease that causes symptoms akin to premature aging. Doctors said he likely wouldn’t live past 12. He turns 20 in August. Mark Carcasole reports.
@Andy Semite why would you make fun of someone with a genetic disorder? Why make fun of them for something they can’t even control? You don’t even know him personally! And you have the audacity to call him a FREAK?
@@selaASMR no i know its in google because its information i know? Why would i lie about this, and looking at it now it says “Hamilton man” in the title hamilton is in ontario beside stoney creek which is were the school was

*Michiel Vanderweert* from Belgium turned *26* the 13"th of June 2024. So far heb has no life threatening illnesses. His sister *Amber* who also has progeria almost *18,5* years old. It's Michiels dream to at least turn 30 years old. Hopefully that dream comes true and maybe even older than 30.🤞🤟
His parents did so well... He seems like such a good kid and actually normal.. doesn't seem they babied him too much which isn't good for kids that have issues
Do not act as if thou wert going to live ten thousand years. Death hangs over thee. While thou livest, while it is in thy power, be good. -Marcus Aurelius Live each moment, and live them to the fullest. Life is short. And for the unfortunate, even shorter. Rejoice, my friends, YOU’RE ALIVE! Live, and live well. Become the person you’ve always dreamed of being. Go forth! Seize the moment, seize the hour, seize the day, seize your life! It is in your hands! Only you can do it, believe in yourself as I believe in you.
He’s looking on you fron heaven & just u wait till u join him & be great your spirit will be made stronger buy this journey the creator will reward you for your courage
Not really sure where you got this idea from, but thats not how the concept of speciation works. Any evolutionist would agree. Simply put (there are some nuances especially in other kingdoms like plantae) the lines of speciation are drawn at ability to reproduce and create fertile offspring as a population. Meaning even if some individuals of a population are not able to reproduce because of certain conditions (not sure if progeria would hinder that in men or not), they are still considered no less of a member of their respective species. In this case, human, obviously. Any real scientist would give you a very similar response to mine. Sincerely, an ecologist.
@latusalihyasalim4872 mutations do indeed happen all the time. Possibly in every individual ever to be born, even if it's not a visible or noticeable mutation. Heck, even traits like fair skin, hair, and eyes are mutations. Its theorized that original humans had more melanin, but it slowly evolved out as humans mived north and lived in areas where they received less vitamin D. That doesn't automatically make someone a different species. The concept of speciation, like i said, is quite nuanced and happens slowly over time. Scientists understand that, so it's not always clear where species lines get drawn. That forms some very interesting conversations in the world of conservation. It affects laws like which species or populations get protected under laws such as the endangered species act and whether a species is federally or state listed. 💀 also, I'm not an atheist. I'm Christian (Edited because I did not spell check myself💀💀)
