As prime week went on, The days got worse and worse 😅. The routes were 1 hour late, people getting 200 stops, I even heard the warehouse was 20 people understaffed 😮. Get ready for peak boys and girls

How come you're always eating on peak days....😅 Hello they gave me 190 stops 3 days in a row. I finished 30 minutes under RTS. 3rd day was a rescue to start. I barely made the shorter route by RTS for the route period..... Miss you man .. I gotta come to your station one day...... Was the Chick sandwich spicy?

I thought it was just my station lol. 1.5hrs late for load out, still with 180-200 stops and our warehouse was understaffed as well. I heard all the warehouse workers at my station used their PTO to call out instead of coming in to work! LMAO!

I put up with Amazon for 3 years, I quit right before the Prime sale like two weeks ago. I've watched the stops, the packages, and the group stops get worse and worse. Amazon's algorithm will always push you harder than it should. If it learns you can do 20 stops in a half hour, the next day it will expect you to deliver 30 stops in a half hour. Never again will I work for Amazon! UPS pays way more and has way better benefits

I’ve been working Amazon for a few months and wondered about this. So if you perform well and fly through routes then that will actually effect your future routes and capacity? Is this like 100% confirmed?

these jobs like working in fast food/waitress jobs are meant as transition jobs for ones who are trying to build their resume. theyre not meant to be lived off of. theyre meant for young ones fresh outta high school/still in school with work permit. these jobs are very simple and require no real skill or thinking, just doing tasks that require manual labor.

I enjoy your videos. I have developed mobility issues in my old age, and use Amazon quite a bit. I really appreciate what you guys do for me. I have special instructions on where to leave the packages. Which is just to the right of my door. That way I can get it into the house while still staying inside. Far and away, the Amazon drivers leave the packages right there. I do my best to select my weekly delivery date, to minimize the number of times you folks have to show up at my place. And during crazy times, like Prime Day and Black Fridays, I try to push out the delivery date, unless I really need the item. Hoping that will help you guys to not be so buried. Thanks for all you do.

Amazon overworks their delivery drivers. Yes, we get 2 "15 minute breaks" AND a "30 minute lunch", but majority of drivers don't take breaks, because otherwise, we end up falling behind according to amazons metrics. Meanwhile, warehouse workers at DSP's get air conditioning, can take all their breaks, and more. DSP workers need to stand up and fight for better wages, because i have done SOOOO much work as a driver, and don't feel like i get paid enough for what I go through. Shit, someone has threatened to KILL me before because their package was a day late, and I don't even have control of that. Stop bending over for your DSP's people, and realize that they only care about putting extra money in THEIR pockets.

On one hand it's neat that Amazon's trying to do delivery themselves, because other postal services are not exactly ideal either and they're also overworked during holiday seasons, but Prime Day rush really is mental. Here in my country we don't have Amazon DSPs, it's all just DHL and evening couriers, so it's incredibly hit & miss in terms of quality. But we get the same drivers most of the time, so we usually buy them a box of chocolates or something around the holidays as a thank you.

It's not so Much the DSPs. The DSPs are pretty good about everything, and will have your back when they can. Obvious things like running a red light, yeah you're done, can't help you there. The way you're DSP treats you depends totally on how you are as a worker. If you're good they're good to you. If you're bad they want you to quit, because they don't want to fire you. Because being fired and quitting are very different when it comes to being a delivery driver. It's Amazon that doesn't give a damn about you. Can't blame your boss, they're just trying to get paid too. There's an old saying "If you don't want to be bossed around, then just be the boss". That means you gotta put the work in first, so you can have the money to become your own Boss. Or just have a lot of money already.

Even the ones that have been there for a while, when you tell them about stuff, "They're like yeah that route was bullshit" Cause we all understand how BS some of our routes are. But there ain't no way someone is going to one up my route the other day. 190/327 80 businesses to include a mall. And the cool thing about malls are you can't group the stops, because amazon doesn't know it's the same building. I had a worse one a few weeks ago. We don't deliver to the city, but we sometimes go to another facility and pull routes from them. I ended up the only one that got a city route. I didn't finish until 8:30. Oh... you can 100% be negative. Some people thrive off of that. The only thing you need to realize is, I need the paycheck so Imma do it anyway. That's how life is. When I was in the Army, pretty much the most negative work experience you can have, new people would always wonder how the people who have been in longer can be so smily all the time when everything sucks. And we would just tell them "Hey, you're already here, It's too late. Have fun with it, we're all stuck in this shit hole together, at least you're going home at some point"

I have country side route, the only nice thing is enjoy the corn and bean field. 180 stops on country side don't seem alright. 1/3 of it was resident neighborhood. I have quit and got my CDL. After 1 year OTR i going back to local working as amazon truck driver. It was so easy and less stress. Working 4 day a week and earn up to 1,500$. Yesterday i just drove empty trailer from Memphis Tennessee back to Indianapolis. I earn up 26 to 30 dollars per hours depend on my driving performance. I miss the old day driving as van delivery. But it not worth coming back. Good luck brother.

I tried it but I quit after one week. That shit was exhausting and the timing is f’ed up too. We don’t get enough time to load the package and by the time we start it’s already 12pm. Since it’s winter, you only have 4hrs of daylight to deliver 230 packages plus 20 more overflow before it gets dark. Would’ve been easier on everyone if they had made the start time at 8am, not only no one would ask for a rescue but also no one would’ve to worry about delivering at night. But shoutout to those who didn’t quit. 😂
