I am 2 months in with daily Use and can just say.. "'buy them" .. great noise cancellation, amazing battery life and fantastic audio fidelity for the price .. I listen to downtempo and the audio has great lows and balanced highs.
How do they do with metal music, any idea? That's the primary music I'll be listening to. Granted I have a ton of high end stuff too , so these will be my gym buds and I just want something good
Great to hear the quality mid range buds are now getting. Have you had a chance to try/compare them to the new Soundcore P3's? Looking between them. The P3's are getting HUGE reviews but sold out everywhere first day available.
You get a thumb up for accurately guessing that RU-vid was going to play a lo-fi chill-hop video next. Good video, appreciate you testing the mic after the firmware update.
The mic quality really sounds good. Look likely a solid ear buds that you can use for both your calls and enjoy your music. However can I request you to do a review on Sabbet E16 and also the Lypertec Tevi to see which one has the best call quality?
I like matte black, generic dot style. But I do prefer to be flush with the face. I drive the one more dual driver anc, definitely stick out more than I would like. I still prefer it to the stem style. And in that case they use their space wisely at least.
I find the acoustic eq preset gives more clarity and adds to the soundstage in music for those who find the bass too overpowering or the mids too lacking. I also find the highs too piercing at times. But getting decent anc and ambient mode for the price of these headphones is amazing. Can't go wrong here.
I just got these and was initially impressed by the default sound. Then I changed the EQ to Acoustic as you said and 😮 wow, you're totally right. I found all the mids I was missing - Acoustic is so much fuller than the default. I'm sure the default has it's uses, and I've only listened to Muse so far, but Acoustic really let's you hear every part of the song much more fully than any of the other pre-built EQs.
@@deanhatescoffee yes. I agree it really stands apart from the other presets. What I did was just tweak it a little by lowering the 6.4k band a notch down to +3. The 800 up a notch to +3. And the lowest 100 freq band down to +3. But it's all personal preference really. Besides the 8 band eq which is totally unheard of on earbuds, they are also remarkably comfortable and stable. They are a great deal for the price.
Gracias por la excelente y detallada prueba. Únicamente no es un ecualizador paramétrico el de la app, es un ecualizador gráfico. Saludos desde España.
Good review mark ,follow a lot of you're reviews ! , have them like a year and in love with them …for 80$ they they best , very comfortable NC and sound are good ,compare to soundcore liberty air pro 2 that coast double and its the same ... just order the new Anker Soundcore Liberty 3 pro .. hope they will be better ....
Oddly the very thing that put me off was the very cheap price tag. £50 for a pair of NC ear buds, when other soundcore NC products were 2 or 3 times the price. I really thought quality must be poor in other areas. I opted for a non NC Liberty Air 2...more expensive and older in design. Fortunately, the were stolen in transit and through fear of that happening again, ordered Life A2 NC's instead. Only had them a week but they are brilliant...and for the price, a no brainer. Ironically I only saw this video after the purchase and feel more justified in my change of decision...thanks to a thief.
Thanks for this video..unfortunately in india life dot 2 ANC with 2 mics model is avaliable. Can you please confirm..regarding the battery issues with Air 2 pro...is it improved after software updates and its still the same? Pls revert if possible.
The new Sony's for 280.00$ don't have multipoint either that kinda sucks. These buds are too big just like the Liberty 2 pros and I don't think Soundcore is going to do a redesign on any of these I think they're just going to upgrade them that's too bad great review thank you Mark. 🤔👍💯
Which firmware did you update to which? Because of this review I bought it and I have 2.20 and there is a lot of noise during the call outside, really different to your example in the video. Was that this beta 2.38?
Not looking to drop a car payment for ear buds but want something that's worth my money and with this wonderful review it's a no brainer to pick these up
I sent mine back after two weeks, the sound was good and the price is definitely right. But the earbuds stick out too much and the biggest factor is that after an hour and half, my ears were hurting with fatigue. I could never find the ear tip where they would feel comfortable.
Im confused between SC Life A2 NC and Soundpeats T2. Can you please help me out? My priorities are fit & comfort, ANC & Ambience mode, and bass-heavy sound. Fit is super important since I just returned earfun air 2 pro (though I liked it a lot) because it kept falling off while brisk walking or running.
I bought the Life Dot 2 NC.. TBH the Sound Quality was a let down because I also own the Soundcore Liberty 2 which are excellent imo. But the major drawback was the fit. It made my ears uncomfortable in just 20 minutes of using it. Surprising because the Liberty 2 are similar in design and way bigger than Life Dot 2 NC (AW NC) Had to return them due to this
👀 how is the soundcore until now still Impressive? Im concerned about comfort are they comfortable enough to wear them for long hour periods? Although im thinking between the Soundcore and Jbl tws 125
Surprised that you didn’t ding the earbuds on functionality and usability due to lack of flexibility in controls. I have the liberty air 2’s which have a much more robust control scheme. Everything else is pretty positive.
I know they added one tap control to the Liberty Air 2 pros in a firmware update a few months after it was released. That was the primary reason I didn't want to go with the sound core product. I need it at least six touch controls. More if I have ANC or EQ modes. Before the firmware update I was limited to four. Had to choose between noise canceling or assistant.
If I'm not mistaken, these earbuds lack reverse track. Gotta have reverse track, especially at the gym. I wish all manufacturers would create an app with remappable controls.
Xiaomi flipbuds pro Samsung Galaxy buds pro Jabra active 85t Jabra active elite 75t huawei free buds pro Oppo Enco X Sony wf-sp800n 1More EHD9001TA 1More Comfobuds Pro If you had to choose one of them, which would have the best sound quality?
I have them and I think you should, I really like them, but I'm not an expert and I don't have too much experience in tws in general, so it's just my opinion
I have them would definitely recommend I bought these after the soundpeats t2 they are amazing I will admit there is definite lag but I don't game with these just music and they do a great job especially after using the eq.
You did not mention an extremely important aspect of these earbuds. They cannot control everything on the buds themselves. You are only given either a double-tap or an extended tap - you are not given a single tap or a triple tap. Therefore, you can only have control of 4 aspects on the buds themselves. So, on my buds, I can toogle through the various modes, I can stop/start the sound, I can raise up the volume, and I can forward to the next track. But, I cannot also lower the volume, or go back a track, because of the inability to use a single tap or triple taps.
Mate… u need to get ur hands on the 1more Comfobuds Pro.. they’re better than these in every way (except maybe sub-bass).. u may have to give that mic an 11 if the soundcore is a 10.. not to mention it’s sound signature May be ur cup of tea.. hahaha!
I just bought a pair of that from the official store, returned it because of its mic issues, and then I got the replacement pair, still had the same mic issues. I eventually gave up on it and decided to just ask for a refund. This is sad actually, since Pistonbuds really amazed me with its superb mic quality and good sound quality :( So, yeah, planning to use that refund money to buy this Soundcore TWS buds. Fingers crossed.
On SALE today, and almost the same price at $120. Which you gonna buy?: 1. Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 1 2. Sony WF-1000XM3 3. Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro 4. Jabra Elite 85T
Im not recommending life a2 nc I cant turn on any noise cancellation mode After i turned on there is lot of beeeeeeeep sound and it makes me faint😂 My friend also purchased life a2 nc and After a week right side ear bud is not working I think this is a production issue with life a2 nc I recommend go to life p3 or Liberty 4 NC They are best and more durable and best sound quality than life a2 nc
These where my choice too even with the doorknob style !! Killing anc ( I'm a metal worker..), no faffing about tech Would your share you eq'ing ? I brought up the the mids and cut a bit of bass to keep an overall sound pressure balance I used marillion's easter song around 3'00" using soundpeats true engine 3se at the guitar part to tweak them as right as possible ?.. It's a pity one can join screenshots in comments Tom from Pyrénées
"I turned down that low end a little bit". What low end? The lowest EQ Setting for Soundcore producs is 100 Hz and thats not at all "low end". Thats upper bass. Why don't you ever mention that crazy flaw with soundcores EQ? You can't tweak real bass at all.
I have the Soundcore Life Q30 and love deep bass, but have the bass EQ all way down just because the 100Hz Bass is really fatigue to my ears. I wish I was able to EQ the Bass really Down on frequency scale, like on the 30 to 35Hz, down this most of us can't ear it, only feel.
@@PModesto I have the Q30's as well and turned down the 100Hz slider a little bit because the kick bass was a little bit too loud for me. I'm glad that they have a pretty good lower bass out of the box but it still would be nice to be able to tune it.
