Wasn't surprised about this one. Was flying pretty low so hurried deployment putting shitty air behind me for my pilot chute and canopy to be in, left shoulder was a little low, packed my canopy a little differently. was too low to fight it much longer, as it is, this was a very low cutaway to reserve for my comfort. lessons learned, adjustments made. thanks to one of my best buddies for packing me a solid reserve canopy. After watching this I wouldve stuck one of my arm wings out to slow down the rotation after deployment in hopes that it wouldve reduced the amount of line twists I had. But that still might have not worked enough to eliminate the need to go to reserve.
