Wow what a bargain! I buy 80% of my clothes/accessories second hand on eBay or in charity shops. You can buy high end high street brands for the price of primark. What’s not to like?! Often they’ve hardly been worn or sometimes are brand new. I’ve had many many bargains. I bought a pair of Pied a Terre knee high tan leather boots for £5 about 4 years ago and I wear them all the time. They were hardly worn when I bought them. They would have been over £200 new. It’s a win win situation because you’re getting wonderful high end quality for a fraction of the price and you’re helping save the planet. Well done for your fab bargain! 👍😀💕
I have a Louis Vuitton holdall, but mines pink and I bought it in Turkey 4 years ago, to put all my new Gucci and Ralph Lauren T- shirts in to take home, lol! 😁

If buying on eBay, its worth checking sellers based in Japan as there are very strict counterfeit laws in Japan. The handbags are often in great condition and are graded so you always know exactly what you're buying.
I love that you gave some history on the LV brand and explained how the bags are made. Great video. I'm like you, I like things to match and I think it's good to spend money on timeless pieces. Back in the early 00s I got two fake LV bags and a wallet in Camden Market. I thought I was the bomb strutting about with them back home in Edinburgh 😂🤣 I wouldn't buy a brand new leather item now as I'm vegan but I have bought some secondhand items from charity shops as I see that as repurposing and it not going to waste/landfill. Brilliant video and congratulations on your purchase. It'll be lovely to see you go on your travels with them!
Enjoyed the "conversational" and approachability quality of your review. In addition to the standard checks for authenticity (materials, font, overall quality, etc.), examine the number of stitches. Every Keepall bag I’ve purchased directly from Louis Vuitton has 5 stitches across the width of bands (strap itself, band that attaches to the handles, band on sides that attach to the strap). 4 stitches is a cheaper alternative used in many fakes, including most of the “vintage” bags. Louis Vuitton does not compromise quality. This is the one detail I check on every bag and is often overlooked/never examined by “authenticators” like those from the RealReal and even by sales associates.

Love it, always want to buy second hand Chanel or LV for the quality and price, mostly the price let’s face it 😆 (also love the fact you say second hand and not pre-loved btw hahaha) I love a charity shop/boot sale, always have always will. Especially charity shops as you feel good about purchasing, not only because of the obvious giving to charity but the fact you’re giving something a new life. Keep these coming. i have an eBay addiction. always loved finding incredible pieces there,pieces of designer that are not current season . to restore the bags although pricey there are places in london that restore/repair the bags beautifully . love what you managed to get. amazing pieces.

Hi, I love the idea of second hand September. But I’m one step ahead of you. At the beginning of 2019 I decided I wasn’t going to buy any new clothes and just buy from car boots, eBay and second hand shops. Well I’m still at it, and having so much fun in the process. There’s something very satisfying getting a quality piece for very little money. Nobody needs to know. It’s amazing how many compliments you get too. 👍🥰

Secondhand September is right up my street. I’ve been lucky enough to find some bargains online and at carboots too. Inc gucci crossbody bags for under £40 and louis vuitton wallets and purses at carboots for under £5. My bargain has got to be a Helmut Lang cashmere black tracksuit £1 each item. Happy Shopping

You can also go on Poshmark they have people that actually check the items and guarantee I know there's another one that's online like Poshmark also Gucci has a store that's a resale store where people will bring stuff back in and they'll resell it for a lower-cost they're all over the place I believe there's one in England and you can also ask the Mane Gucci or the Louis Vuitton or whichever one you want if they have the outlet store

Seller offer is a great new feature on eBay. Watch the item, leave it for a while and before you know it they send an offer. I do it all the time now. I love eBay and always use it over Amazon. You can often find the same seller on eBay too for new things just search the displayed Amazon name and you’ll find the eBay shop, the items are cheaper too. I’ve had some secondhand bargains over the years, my leather Nicole Farhi jacket is my most treasured 💞 Love the bag, so happy for you, I know the feeling of being in love with your new secondhand purchase.
I used to scourer Ebay for wish list items, but I have no patience lol. I go to a lot of boots sales and charity shops, I did find a new Vera Bradley bag, for £3.00, a vera purse labels on for £3.00 also Ugg flipflops. One thing you will find with that bag don't clean the letter handles and straps as the colour changes with Age and therefore makes the bag Antique. great bag.
And have you heard of the Macassar range? The cowhide leather is dyed black and the hardwear is silver. I bought a new Keepall banduliere in 2019 and will never go back to the untreated vachetta leather. Have a look out for one on the secondhand market. I think it'll suit you.

There is a leather soap you can get, I believe it is called Saddle Soap. Look online, I used it to clean my shoes and purses. They also sell leather wipes which I believe you can find in the automotive department to use on car seats and steering wheels. Good purchase!
At a friend's party, everyone was full of praise for my new dress. No one expected it to come from *amzclothes* , and the price was only a fraction of the original.
In 1888 the Damier Ebene print bag was made and I think when Louis died his brother George came out with the LV Monogram as we know today as a tribute to his brother xx

The bag is genuine. I bought the same bag but mine was amazing condition £270 sold it for £650 .. I’ve been buying and selling for ages as a hobby. The stitching is a massive giveaway and the date code obviously.

These older louis bags are the only designer bags I'd ever want for the same reason as yourself. Those old steamer trunks are amazing. What a bargain but who would sell an item like a wash bag without cleaning it first ugh! Perhaps use a hand held steamer to clean them out if you have one.
I have watched a few of your videos and I have really enjoyed them . We have a lot of similar likes in life , I too love charity shops and have done sinceI was introduced to jumble sale by a grandparent at 10 yrs old. I was overwhelmed to buy a pair of amazing stilleto heels in black suede they had pointed toes and a frill of black lace on the front . The shape of the heel was so elegant , they had never been worn and cost me 5 p. Of course they were only for playing dressing up at the time . However my love for all things vintage and shoes has stood the test of time . I too love Louis Vuitton the iconic pieces never go out of vogue. So when I was forced to take early retirement due to ill health , myself and my husband took a much needed holiday . One of our stops was Milan and again like you I was adamant I was adamant I was going to purchase for myself a LV handbag . Which I did and a purse and a silk scarf . The experience was amazing and something I’m not likely ever to do again . I have 2 stepdaughters who already have put claims on the aforementioned items when I put them in my will 😳
