The Song of Storms is also another convenient way to make magic beans grow so you don't have to waste a bottle on water.

not really a song but a health saving tip. if you get hit by a fire bat or dodongo fire breath the burn will stay a few seconds and take additional damage but go into ocarina mode and the damage will stop and you just wait for the fire to die out.

I think the Song of Storms curing curse status has something to do with mythology about water being a purifying element. There have been Asian folklore about running rivers keeping spirits and the undead from crossing. I remember from playing MK: Deadly Alliance that there was mythology brought up about how a crooked bridge also keeps spirits from crossing because they can only go in a straight line (don't know if that's from real life mythology or just in the game for fun, but it was interesting).
