Hey guys! Thanks for checking out my cover :D Once again after another 4 months it's done. Tabs are in the description if you'd like to play it, and let me know with a comment if you get stuck or need tips or whatever. I've also got a patreon now if you feel like supporting my channel (link in the description). It's purely donation based, as I don't have benefits right now, but in the future I plan on adding those. Regardless, I'll always keep the tabs free. Thanks again for watching!
I wish you could get more attention cause your tabs are free for everyone and they are simple yet beautiful to play. Great job and keep up the good work
how can you do strumming technique without any mistake to another strings? I tried my best to cover with your arrangement but i can't do as you do :v Very nice skill man..
The trick is muting on the left hand. Chances are you will hit other strings unless you are specifically focusing on not doing that. With lots of flick strums, muting with left hand is necessary.
Hey Nick it's so good to hear from you, the version sounds so good, hope this time there won't be a 5 month hiatus, Will be eager to hear more from you very soon, wish you all the luck .
@@nilurocks6437 I use elixir custom light strings. Light strings are usually good. Depends on what sound you want. Martin strings should have a more mellow sound and elixirs should sound brighter. For playability though, generally lighter is easier. For me, custom lights have the tone and playability I like.
@@nicholasnorrie1637 Hey Nick I hope you're well, it's almost a month now hope this isn't a long hiatus again, appreciate the music though, take care and hope to hear something from you real soon, Well I do have the same request, Do a cover of Loser by Kenshi Yonezu or a cover of So Ist Es immer by hiroyuki sawano from Aot. Thank you
There is a lot that goes into it. Basic set up is 2 small diaphragm condenser mics, usb audio interface, laptop with DAW. More complex is the effects used to edit the audio, mic placement, room consideration, and a bunch of other things. There is an old video from Eddie van der Meer that shows how he records. I mostly follow that, but it's been a long process to getting a sound I like and I still have a way to go.
Hey Nick, Hope you are well, well do you have any tips on performing live, it will be small audience of about a 1000 people on 5th of September, any tips you can share will be of huge help, Well Arigato for the tabs down the years hoping for more.
Hey, sorry for late response. I don't know if this is the best advice since I usually don't play in front of people but you should make sure you are comfortable playing the piece and playing in front of people. That means practicing the songs until you can't play them wrong as well as practicing in front of people, like family and friends, and try to play like a performance. Even potentially playing guitar on the street in public. Anyways, good luck with your performance!
I am :) I've got one coming for sure this weekend. Sorry for the long time between videos, it takes a ton of time to practice my arrangements and I have to balance a lot of other things. But don't worry, I don't plan on stopping. In fact I'm making arrangements to upload a lot more frequently so I hope you'll check out my videos when they are out :)
i love you bro you are so kind and talented. if i didn't found you i couldn't make my guitar playing better till today. you involved me to play song of ancients and i learned it without any teachers because you were my teacher Brother! take care yourself my Otaku guitarist. hope you will release more covers and learn me many more guitar songs specially animes :)
hey big fan here! i was wondering how long you took to get to this level of playing? because ive been taking lessons and it seems way too far out of reach
If you are dedicated then you can definitely do it :) I have been playing for many years but honestly there were years where I didn't improve since I barely practiced. Put in as much time as possible to practice and you'll get really good for sure
@@djtan123 play what you enjoy :) fact of the matter is you will improve the more you play, so if you play every day and have fun doing it you'll be more likely to keep it up. Learn the fundamentals, lots of guitar lessons online can teach them (like justinguitar) and just try playing arrangements of songs you like. You'll struggle a lot at certain points, but that's how you get better as long as you push through
Awesome stuff man, always a pleasure to hear your covers :). Did you see the trailer for Makoto Shinkai’s (your name director) new movie? I can’t wait to watch it, and the little I’ve heard from the songs so far sound great!
