Greg, this video was the best of this journey, so far. Starting with your self setting fish trap, to your brilliant bow drill fire, and the bonus song. Thank you!!
Greg! There aren't enough like buttons for the song at the end. Not to mention that truly epic bowdrill trick. (Im a Scout leader and will show that to the kids for sure!) I've been watching all your videos with my two young boys and we all really look forward to them. Keep it up man! We're in your corner.
I like the "Handicap" Bow drill.. i was actually kicked out of 4H many moons ago because being Handicapped(65% paralyzed on my right side) i couldn't do the bow drill. I love the idea of using a force that is already there
When I was in Alaska, as a 14 year old kid, I remember going out and dipping a bucket of water from the stream. You'd have to let it sit and warm up for an hour before you could comfortably drink it without getting a brain freeze. The water was coming right off the glaciers and it was VERY COLD! I KNOW what you mean, Greg, about the water being cold! Clear and breathtakingly cold and no worries about giardia or any of the other bad stuff! Best to boil it, though! Wish I had been catching fish as big as those you guys are catching at that lake! I've watched all the episodes, so far and sharing them on my FB page and enjoying them immensely! I'm 67 now, and disabled so, this is me vicariously enjoying your adventure!
YAY!! I am so excited you got that nice looking fish on the set line!! I'm learning so much from your channel, Greg! I could listen to you talk about bushcraft all day long :D Thanks for your channel, thanks for all your hard work, thanks for being you!
Dear Greg... the singing really went to my heart. I like the way you are not ashamed to sing on RU-vid. More people with their hearts close to nature and earth should sing us the songs of old... Thank you for a marvellous series with the best partner on the planet (Zach). Greetings from Belgium!
Watching every episode! Thank you Greg for sharing this experience with us all who cant make it to the Rockies. I know you are doing this for multiple reasons more than likely, but the longest lasting one will be the inspiration of thousands of people to go live and experience something like this instead of sit on their couch.
one of the best movies ever, love Redford in it.. that was nice Thanks Greg.EVERY EPISODE learning a great deal from u. i will definatly b checking out the resy of ur videos.
Way to go oven and Fowler! I love the music and the respectful moments you share of mother nature’s beauty with the world. Very thankful of your efforts to entertain the importance of wildernesss!👍
Greg, this series is the next best thing I’ve watched since Dick Proenneke. I’m completely hooked. You’re such an authentic and lovely character. Love your sense of humour! Also, that singing at the end made my eyes all watery! Thank you, truly!
Amazing scenery, survival skills and to boot, this wise man has a story tellers voice to boot. Glued to this series, keep em coming Greg, you are the real deal, no drama or BS, just sharing your knowledge and we appreciate it very much.
Greg you have such a beautiful singing voice. Im in the middle of kicking out sugar and ive been feeling super anxious and i must say watching these video's help calm me down. But your singing was just icing on the cake. I love your channel and i sincerely hope you enjoy many more beautiful years on this earth. Your amazing 👏🏾 ❤ Im 23 years old female and you truly inspire me to lose weight, eat low carb and healthy so i too can join the outdoor community. Peace!
I'm always rooting for you guys Greg, this was an amazing adventure and you're the best partner Zach ever had. Great job on the hike and tough luck on the blueberries but God gave you strawberries so, whose complaining. I loved the secret method, I'm going to try that - Thanks Greg!
Gregs the best bushcraft guy on youtube. I learn alot from him. He's down to earth. Simple in his way of bushcraft. And entertaining. Thank you Greg!!!
Fowler your drone scenes are getting really good! The pan shots synced with the music are getting smoother and clean!! Keep on grinding these were beautiful!
I have been watching every episode and I learn something interesting with each episode I watch! I love the secret bow drill technique and the song was a nice surprise! Your funny and entertaining. Great success with the set line🎉
"I'm watching every episode" For real, I just started a couple of days ago and binge watched both channels. I don't think I have ever watched survival videos before but I really like this.
I watched the End of the Episode while riding the Train to work, didn´t realised Greg was singing, thought "man, thats a nice song, first time with vocals, than I realized it´s Greg, man, that guy has quiet a Voice!! I'm amazed! Good I watch the whooe thing, I would never know if I had missed that Episode!
I'm definitely watching every episode of the 30 day survival challenge and Greg man you never cease to amaze me you're coming up with great ideas all of the time and they really work great witch you've proven over and over again I absolutely love it.. you rock Greg ✌
Greg, U really amaze me. Lots of tips and tricks to aid in survival. Fella, I bet u have been thru it all. I feel privileged to learn from u, Thank u. I already knew Zac is a survivalist, and respect him. But this is my first time meeting u. I studied a lil bit bout edible plants. But it didn’t sink in until all the gathering u did, u have a hands on approach that actually sunk in. The fire drill method u showed was definitely useful. Thank u again!
Craig H most people who dislike are either bots or trolls. I am friends with a guy who has a RU-vid channel(zombiecartman) and he posted a video about his abusive home as a kid and people disliked that.
that bowdrill improv ... Greg , being genius again. Simplicity + effiecency = genius ! Plus he's the nicest guy on youtube for sure , like a guy commented below ! I think youtube should award him !
Outstanding!!! My wife and I quite enjoy watching your video’s Greg! Thank you for doing this and showing us your passion! Just incredible to see...... 🇨🇦❤️
Elder LOPEZ Hello! This video was well worth a second watch for me as well, pay no mind to Barone’s comment, he’s just proven to all that read the comments his level of maturity. Comments of others show how much they to, liked this video, and u have 12 thumbs up n agreement 👍🏼 Have a wonderful day!
Thank you so much for the hint on bow-drill fire making. I am a 90 pound woman and steadying the spindle was so hard. I know now, with this method, I can start a fire. Thank you so much.
I'm a city guy, 50 years, rollerblading in Bordeaux, France, though.. I'm not skilled and could not make it by myself in your wilderness,... But I mean. I would learn how to... So beautiful it cannot be easy. Thanks, many thanks Greg.
Greg is getting me through some mighty dull days with all the covid stuff going on. I’ve gotten to really love his shows. And yes I have had to survive in the woods for abut less than a year. And berries are so so good for a person and fish are without doubt life sustaining. Not to mention clean water!
I am actually shocked this hasn't been done yet. There is a huge population of folks that don't know how to use a computer (older people) that would LOVE LOVE LOVE this organic no BS content. Put it on any TV channel during a good time spot and it would explode, mark my words. Doesn't even have to be discovery, any channel. It would need to be cut down a bit, at least initially. Greg would be on the late night TV interview circuit within 3 months and be a spokesman for all the outdoor gear he could do. Guaranteed.
I personally think big cable networks don't deserve someone like Greg. Plus when he's doing it his own way, he can continue to do it his own way. Once you sign the dotted line you're someone else' bitch who can be bossed around because now they got control over you with money. That would be no good.
@@MaliciousSRT I don't know if he actually wants that. Form bush crafting in the Rockies to spokesperson and late night shows...thats quite a career change
"You already have it,just get it big." That's what she said.... lol! Anyways awesome video as always you guys must've been so ready to go by now but man what awesome memories you guys made out there I'm sure!
I loved the demonstration. I will watch this more than once. "It ought to have been different, but you often times will find that the story doesn't always go the way you had in mind.."
I really enjoy your videos, Greg. My cousin's and I used to camp on my grandparents farm most of the summer. The little spring run was full of Brook trout and there were plenty of wild ramps, morel mushrooms, wild onions and garlic, fiddlehead ferns and many woodchucks we stalked and trapped as well. Great memories and my cousin now lives in Casper, Wy. He hunts for weeks at a time and lives off the land like we did so many years ago. Keep making these videos. I love them!!!
Great song brother and a good job singing it. So glad i found this channel!! Thank You for all the videos and showing us how to make all the bush items.many many thanks..
Awesome your set line trap caught that fish, proves it's working, really ingenious if you analyse it. When I first saw you setting it, I thought "ok makes sense", but when you think about it fighting the fish, wearing it down, that's a real smart trap right there. Love how you announced your "secret idea"! Man, I was laughing out load so hard, tears in my eyes :D I seem to like you dry kind of humor, not too many words, just enough, just the right ones :p Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
