@bercl i think dead cells spoiler boss is fair considering he’s at the end of the game’s main, very linear, progression and also a story twist. most people won’t get good enough to that far without the internets help so it’s reasonable to keep him a spoiler i think
there apparently _is_ a secret providence trial skin for him but it's completely unobtainable currently (aside from possibly save-editing, but no one knows the unlock string for it atm)
I was trying this for 2 hours last night and kept failing on mando because of how damn long it was and all the insane situation it puts you in suddenly. Just happy to hear it's hard and I'm not that bad at the game.
I can't get over how much cooler of a boss fight providence is than mithrix, idk what it is, maybe just because it's new to me whereas I've seen mithrix hundreds of times. But the providence fight is so sick.
I think the presentation and games overall portrayal of each boss is the main factor. Remember. mithrix is the king of nothing, a prisoner on the moon that you are hunting down, whilst providence is hunting you. Providence (intentional or not) is going to be more imposing just by this premise alone
Personally I think it’s simply just providence is just way more flashy. Mithrix attacks just aren’t as flashy as provs and his 4th phase is more of a gimmick compared to providences last stand.
The Umbral Mithrix mod really makes Mithrix boss fight muuuch better than the original, but I still respect the original since the first time I fight him was so memorable by the way he lands as the boss music starts playing. And not gonna lie, if not for phase 4 skip and pillar cheese (standing on those pillars that appear on phase 2), if you were having a god-run, he'll literally destroy you.

Mithrix is scummy and oneshots, also throws his minions ,who arent as cool, against you. Providence has two personal overloading worms, unique robots, and instead of stealing your items, he becomes a terraria boss.
Speaking of little gods, look at this dude! Love seeing you crush challenges like this, man. Keep up the great work. Meanwhile I'll try to consistently get past stage 3. smile
You're the ROR goat! Seriously impressive. Shame there's no skin for him. Love the challenge Judgement provides, but locking us into the default loadout for each class is kind of frustrating.
the secret character is a weird spoiler because it's practically IMO impossible to figure out naturally without looking anything up honestly, i even doubt that ppl were able to solve this legit due to some of the steps required to unlock the character
i was tipped off about it on my first run when i got to stage 4 cause i happened to be going slow and hit the stage 3 tp at the 22 minute mark found the little guy and was confused about the battery, only to find the battery in a separate run while secret hunting (which happened to be the same run where i later found out about the rift chest)

I love how much clear love they put into the aspects of the trials that they pulled from Super Smash Bros. The structure is the same as the series' event matches, there are some direct references to break the targets and battlefield in a few specific trials, and the colored survivors Providence summons during this trial are just like the colored multi-man enemies from Brawl. Wouldn't be surprised if Hopoo's next game is a platform fighter at this point haha
so are there achievement regarding this character or the trailer, because I might take back some words I've said to my friends about 100%-ing this game
Don't forget to play with a single joycon, blindfolded, drunk, jumping on a trampoline, upside down, reversed controls, secondary only, and pass the joycon to the next player every ten seconds.
its so disgusting how broken the drifter is. i did it for the first time and straight up demolished with him and failed to win on any char im gonna try to win with engineer tomorrow but it feels impossible to do so GG ON THE MINIMAN WIN
