I'm so glad i bought this already. I even got Trey to sign it in 2017 at a SC3/Dead Cross show. His signature is the "Forms" logo, and he signed it right in the middle of the artwork as if to "complete" the design.
I was surprised to hear that Slash was on this record. Almost as surprised as when I learnt that a lot of the excellent drumming and percussion on this album was done by Chad Smith. Great video again, Carl.
@12:44 not a theremin, but you're right about it being a bowed instrument: it's a saw! Saw was played by Ursula Knudson of the fabulous (now defunct) Fishtank Ensemble, whose first record was actually released by Mimicry!
@@CarlKingdom if you'd like a visual example, here's Antúlio Madureira playing a bowed saw ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8M7GfSvHmHE.html
Factoid: Ursula Knudson (of the excellent Fishtank Ensemble), who played the saw on this track, appeared on America's Got Talent, where none other than David Hasselhoff described her performance as the worst thing he'd ever seen.
I missed seeing the Secret Chiefs open up for Goblin because we had a little trouble finding the venue and I'm still bummed about it. Goblin was great though
Oh, man. That's OK though because Secret Chiefs 3 probably also never found the venue! They're probably still driving around... And that is cool, you got to see Goblin.
...there are 7 episodes more... ;-) But since I'm a Finn I know that it was sarcasm, lol! My bet is that Vadic is playing with them just to waste their (Picard and Riker) time. Like cat plays with mouse. They might otherwise stop the cunning plan that Raffi and Worf are trying to solve. Great episode yet again!
