Are you in search of a little slice of heaven north of the border in beautiful British Columbia? Well then look no further, Secret Cove is it. Not only is this little marina north of Vancouver quaint, cozy and everything you could ask for, it's a 5 minute dinghy ride to one of the worlds finest beaches with water so warm you'd think you're in the caribbean. Seriously, we're not joking...water is WARM!!!

Thank you (2 years late) for another great video. I find it very interesting to see how cruising in the northwest differs from we have here in southern North Carolina. I am very jealous of the numerous coves, passages, islands and cool towns to visit all with beauty scenery for most of the trip. Here we have the big ditch (Intracoastal Waterway, ICW) which can take you places in mostly protected water but is quite boring along much of it's length. Then there are the day trips offshore for fishing but nothing I would really call exploring. In general our mix of boats is a bit different as well. Overnight cruising boats seem less common here except in spring and fall there is a great procession of yachts transiting between the northeast and their winter grounds in Florida. On nice days they run in the ocean where they can relax and use autopilot but when the seas are up it's a close-up parade of multi million dollar yachts as they take the calmer waters of the ICW. It's an awesome sight to be standing on the dock when a 150 ft. mega yacht blasts by on plane in a canal only a hundred yards (in spite of the close confines there are no speed or wake restrictions along much of the ICW). Otherwise we seem to have more fast, open boats. Something to get you 30 miles offshore for a day of fishing and then back home in time for dinner.

Thanks for the new video. Living in the PNW the cold/dark/wet months can be trying but video's like this remind me why we live here, absolutely stunning! We cant wait to take our Carver 400 up, or by then we might be upgraded to a 530. We appreciate the time you take making these videos, thank you!

Thanks for the nice comment! We're so glad this video made the doom and gloom of Seattle winter not as gloomy. We feel so lucky to get to be out on the water year round to see the beauty that is the PNW since it tends to alleviate the winter slump 😊

Oh wow that's the (In)famous Aurora. Last I read it was at the Ft. Lauderdale boat show for sale again. Cool seeing it in the "wild!"
