I've watched your video several times. Does me no good to try an load the patterin on my tablet. Have no way to copy it off. My problem is I must depend on others to get what I need. Could I buy your books by mail with checks or money orders. Thanks iva
@@cherylwilliams42 You can often buy them in fabric stores also. I think I now have 7 or 8 of their blocks. I bought 2 sets of fabrics this weekend to make my grandsons quilts . Enjoy the Kids Quilt book for them!!
In the 1st kit fabrics # 2 & 3 remind me of The car wash. Topiary is the one my youngest picked for a twiin quilt, I am using foxes #1 orange dots #2 and real #3 . I will send a picture when it's done.
I made the Fandango. It was very easy and cute. I think I am going to make Connections. I spent part of my day today getting 3 more paired up with fabric from my stash.
I now see quilts in a different way. You all have taught me to look for the units! I with my grandmother was still alive. She had that 6th sense about quilting and sewing and making and I was always amazed. I think she must be smiling down nodding her head at my realization and new eye, thanks to you all at 3YQ
Donna and Fran, did you plan to have matching earrings?! They are the same shape! And YT has finally reverted to the old layout which works so much better. They must have listened to everyone complaining! An enjoyable video again. Just very envious of that beautiful fabric you have. I wonder if you could put the names of it as most of your fabric is not available in Australia. It is not possible to buy it from you as the US postage makes it nearly three times the cost. Otherwise, I would have bought metres of many of your fabrics! I finally got the bordering of squares today. I used to think you cut the square then bordered it, even though I watched a couple of years of videos! Seeing the strip method, it finally sunk in! So helpful to see the pieces and parts :) All of you in the USA, be grateful that you have access to these beautiful fabrics 😊
Love your video, have one of your books, you have directions for twin topper and the queen and king topper , what about a full topper. How much would I need and how many blocks. Thank you
Another great video! Emily at terriblyrad just posted a video of her version of your quilt Amore and it is, in her words, "so stinking cute". Now I have to put that pattern on my must make list". Thank you Donna and Fran!
Thanks again for another great video!! I’ve made several of your quilts. What fun!! If you haven’t made these quilts yet you shouldn’t wait any longer 😊👍
What a great video! I just subscribed! I love the quilts and the way you show and explain things. I do have 2 thoughts as a new viewer…1. Do you always use white in your quilts? And 2. I am visually challenged by trying to look at so many patterns at once. With the fabrics in the background and the bright pieces in the quilts, the busy prints in your blouses are distracting to me. I am just one viewer, I’m guessing that there might be a reason, but this is my first impression. Have you tried solid colors? I’m looking forward to seeing your next show and going back to your previous shows. Thanks very much!
Hello and welcome to the channel! Thanks sew much for subscribing 😅 Love your feedback, we're always listening to our community on how we can improve and bring everyone a great show filled with fun quilt ideas. To answer your questions - 1. We do not always use white but we due tend to use a color that will fall to the "background" of the quilt for our #2 fabric position and a color that is lighter in tone than our #3 fabric position. 2. We agree with you! For the last 3 years we have been filming in a portion of our office space that also stores some of our fabric, so there have been lots of color and patterns. Going forward, we have rearranged our office space and have created a less "loud" environment to film or shows in. You'll have to let us know what you think of the new space in upcoming videos. 🥰 3. - We do like solid colors, however, our quilts only need three 1-yard cuts of fabric and our patterns are designed to be fast and easy, that being said we tend to gravitate towards patterned fabrics or at least a fabric that has a subtle design to keep the interest and excitement in the quilt. But you could totally make one of our 3-yard quilts with solids and it still come out looking great 🥰 Any three yards of fabric will work with ANY of Fabric Café's 3-yard quilt patterns from our books or individual patterns. We love to hear from new viewers, so feel free to share more questions or thoughts. 😁
Having finished the All Texas Shop Hop, I just found out that you're in Texas! Why weren't you in the Shop Hop? I would have loved to have visited you.
Hi Toni! Good question! We'll look into if we can be apart of it in the future. We do not have a brick and mortar store so that may exclude us from the events. We are located in Tyler, TX but are an online store only. 😅
@@FabricCafe Oh, that probably excludes you. Well, in that case, you guys are extra special amazing to have such great videos and no store. I really thought you were filming in a store!
Had hoped to see you both @ the Paducah,KY quilt show this weekend. Love you patterns & how easy they are. Help me teaching NEW /INEXPERIENCED folks how to make complex looking quilts that are so EASY!! Thanks for making my job so easy!!!!!!
Hi Rebecca! So glad you like our patterns 🥰 I'm sorry for the confusion. The patterns in the dropdown are all of the patterns we offer individually, however, there are some patterns that can only be found in our books. The patterns shown in todays video are only available in our 3-yard quilt books. You can find all the books used in the description box of the video. Any 3 yards of fabric will work with any of our 3-yard quilt patterns, so any pattern that is listed in the dropdown will also work with that kit. An image of the pattern we suggest can be seen to the left of the kit image on our website. If you have any other questions feel free to comment! You can also give us a call or email us and we'll be happy to help 🥰
Oh my goodness! I have almost every one of these books and have never even thought to attempt the quilts you have shown today. Can’t wait to start making some more. Thanks again for all you do ladies!
Hi Charlotte! All of the books we mention are in the description box below the video with links to our website, or you can go to www.fabriccafe.com and find all of our books there 🥰
Other online or local shops should be able to carry the same or similar fabrics. We just curate specifically for our 3-yard quilt kits and what we think will look good in our 3-yard quilt patterns. 🥰 Glad you enjoy them!
