I love secrets music I really do but I’m just sooo confused by this music video. In his lyrics he says how money will pass away and he is fighting his flesh but he’s holding it looks like thousands of dollars in his hand pretending to talk on the phone with it and dance on it the whole entire music video. And I’m not trying to be a hater because I really love his music and his message but the video comes off extremely worldly as if he’s bragging. I hope this messages comes off as so kind but it looks very worldly.

Yeah I thought that too. I see a lot of Christian rappers do this stuff and the truth is we can never know their heart. The difference is secular rappers don’t give glory to God imo that’s all that matters but we can’t know if he’s genuine or not🤷‍♂️

I'm not trying to hate or discredit him, he makes good music, helped me on my walk with the Lord and all that. But he does seem to be promoting a prosperity gospel, as shown here "Money, cars, clothes & true generational wealth will be added on to you."

You can have and show money if ur a Christian. As long as you put Jesus above money and above anything you own then it doesnt matter how much money you make and have fun with it.
