when you beat the Special stages that this keyhole unlocks, that effect happens for all the enemies in the game. At least in the SNES version...dunno if it does that on the GBA one
You know you can control the way the coins go right? When you hit the box steer with the d-pad and it will go anyway you want... Thats how you get there without yoshi
Hotrodx199 wow I know it’s been 6 years but I’m back into the snes classic and your tip right here is the only thing that made sense. ! It should be pinned to the top! No one seems to be paying attention to this huge fact. I knew it went the right direction the first time I attempted it and couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t anymore. So thank you!!
It's been years and I totally forgot I even made this comment. It should work, just kinda hit the d-pad in different directions until it moves the way you want it to.
@seananddominic a secret exit on donut world 1 gets u a secret water level. find a secret exit there and youll get a secret ghost house. take a secret exit there and there u go, star world. ill find some videos and send u a message with links to the videos to explain in detail

Wow, creative, but did you use the blue Yoshi for the first time? I did it by sacrificing Yoshi to get to the one platform, then went to the platform with the secret vine spin jumped with the cape to open the vine block then got the next Yoshi jumped sacrificed him then climbed up the vine.
Thats not representative for players who want the quick solution cus when you get there, there isn't a viloett koopa there it's a red one so you can't get up to the keyhole like this
SirSmokkeAlot420 I know this was a year ago so not sure if y'all figured it out or not. But continuing to the end does nothing. Must get the keys to continue on.
When you hit the block that has the coins that come out, use the D pad and steer then to the RIGHT then hit the P block to turn the coins into solid blocks temporarily. You don't need a Blue Yoshi or a cape this way.
