Great to see that we're getting more Superyachts on RU-vid. It's a great way to market the yacht to potential clients and to showcase the industry. Notably, when I started RU-vid onboard AWOL we were with IYC, Loon is also with IYC and I see King Kenji is also with IYC. I'm looking forward to watching your content. Subscribed and wishing you all the best.
This looks exciting. Can't wait to see what you all get up to. That yacht is beautiful too. I worked on yacht in the mid-90's as a deckie. Miss the life sometimes so I appreciate it now that more yachts are using social media to get more people into yachts. Lots of people credit Loon as the pioneer, but I think Tom Joe on WD and Jared Watney on I and then Arience, followed by Tristan on AWOL were the True trendsetters.
Thankfully RU-vid suggested your channel. I'm already following M/Y Loon. Glad to see a whole lot of 🇿🇦 crew. I have a superyacht berthed alongside me in Cape Town Harbour, which is undergoing a total refit. Although it is only around 5m shorter, it has a whole lot less space on board. It's amazing what the designers have managed to fit in, from what I've seen so far. I also see that you arrived in Cala Del Forte this morning, so you're on the move & doing a shakedown.
That is a truly remarkable looking boat. I would appreciate some stats on it though, Max speed and nominal cruise with range. I look forward to future content from you all! subscribed!!
This was a great pilot episode. Well done Cameron. Sounds like maybe you are going to continue doing these shows on a regular basis. I enjoy watching the content of another popular RU-vid charter vessel, and I hope you will be doing some similar content as they do.
Just another shout out to main Cook 😊 Such an important JOB. "WOW" he is setting up his camera mount to film REAL chief cook 😊 He is so so important and can't say it enough about his JOB sweeting in Main Gallery making sure the the Food is perfect 😊❤😊
Okay, I will subscribe. Welcome to the Luxury Yacht RU-vid world. I hope you have amazing success! What I would like to see is a walk-through of the ship. Would be awesome if you could get either Aquaholic, Yacht Addict, or Jared Watney to do so.
Loved meeting the crew and seeing King Benji. Love how the yacht charters are jumping on board Social media... 👌 look forward to following the adventures
Congratulations! I wish you and the rest of your colleagues, safe travels and obviously you all love what you do! If I could afford it, I’d be out there with you! Maybe someday🙏🏻🥰
Thank you my Captain friend 😊 you meet the crew 😊 so refreshing to see real crew who are happy 😊 to work these new builds. So so much different that the TV show below Deaks. These are REAL world wide CREW who in my Humble opinion LOVE there jobs. Bringing TP to crews quarters. Doing Laundry. The chief stew doing her computer work staying on top of any problems 😊 you are so so much better doing your video than any BS TV show. It pisses me off that the world sees these HARD workers in a negative light based on a TV show. When in real world super yachts they LOVE there JOBs and go the extra mile. Just watching one of the guys making sure the ROPES are perfectly spliced. 😊 Your video is real life of crew on super size vessel for private owned vessels.😊 Can bet you the VIPs that charter her, will give them the TIPs that they earn. Not just watching Bitching by crew and very bad mouthing guests who PAY big personal money to be treated like VIPs. 😊❤😊
A view from the UK. Oh!, my lordy, i've just thrown the San Lorenzo 460/EXP brochure into the bin. This boat has blown me away. Everything about it is, for me, perfect. I don't need to compromise on anything. I've just found your vlog and have subscribed. WARNING. Please don't spoil what looks like a good start. There a a few similar 'crew orientated' vlogs out there, Below Decks anyone? and one that i have taken exception to - Loon. PLEASE< PLEASE< PLEASE don't copy their conceited, entitled, childish attitude. On one video they complained after one trip their tip wasn't big enough and the captain would donate his share to the pot AND complain to the chartering agency, would you believe it. Don't bounce around like 12yr olds. Yes of course keep it young, fresh and informative but keep your vlog boat orientated. (We don't want to know who's banging which stewardess). Look forward to more.
It to me a while to clue into the fact that internal storage of support craft counted against the internal volume. Given that a great many yachts are built to not exceed 499 tons of internal volume, it makes HUGE sense to store those craft externally, not internally. When you build a yacht to do just that, you lose nothing in terms of the yacht's 'luxury' internal spaces, you don't lose space to such storage, and you gain the ability to carry much larger support craft such as the one carried here. King Benji 'did' lose a sundeck with this design choice, but I expect those who would charter her are perhaps not the sort to want to lounge on a yacht's sundeck and more the sorts who will want to avail themselves of the resultant much better equipped 'toys', and perhaps do shore excursions in exotic places that only proper explorer yachts can easily brave.
That’s a very bold statement to claim that this is going to disrupt the industry, takes a long time to build a successful charter record, let’s see how you get on this summer long way to go to better Loon
