I work for a living and have no problem paying half, if its something I would normally pay. If they are doing something kinda crazily priced meal for show. I wouldn't offer. Also if there's a test involved it is how he would react to me offering to pay half. If he calmly declines or accepts me paying half ,I think that's great. I don't care which way it goes. However if me offering to pay causes him to rant and it has, well that's a sign that he has some resentment towards women. Sometimes I talk through this with a guy and sometimes not. 😢
