You make a valid point in saying that utilizing the wasted space for a bit of extra generated revenue is a win-win situation. That lady near the end didn't understand that having an oven and a fryer only takes maybe 6 square feet at the most and I've been to many gas stations where there is more than enough room to accommodate that. Yeah, your not going to make big bucks doing it but you'll make a lot more than just placing some random GM on a desk that rarely sell when such could be moved elsewhere. Also, the pizzas and other options such as wings take minimal effort to put together and cook and the crusts already come with sauce and cheese on them so each pizza will realistically take 3-4 minutes tops to have in the oven and an addition minute or two to slice and box to put under the heat lamp. That single pizza is cut into fourths and each slice is around $3.50 so $14 if all four sell. If even two of the four slices sell your making a profit and most gas stations will rarely bake more than two every half hour so there isn't much loss potential. Your turning nothing into something and if you just put aside that extra $2,000+ a month into a savings account your looking at a quarter of a hundred grand a year and since you already own the gas station that is just icing on the cake. There is a reason they have so many locations. Their pizza quality is very mediocre but good for on-the-go people who just want a quick lunch while picking up gas, snacks, whatever. An extra sale of $3.50 every few transactions may seem like nothing but every dollar adds up.

It’s frozen pizza with toppings added later, then cooked. It’s really good! In the “big city” of Houston, many convenience store/gas stations here are run by jerk-off lazy urbanites of all types, so they don’t like to be bothered with people, work, cleanliness or quality of any kind. AVOID! Find an out-of-the-way store with good employees and you’ll love Hunt Brothers pizza!
