Secret Invasion's got a great ensemble cast, Olivia Coleman & Kingsley Ben-Adir (One Night in Miami) are going to kill it! Glad the showrunner is one of the key writers & producers from Mr Robot! The show will tie into both the Armor Wars show & The Marvels movie.

Definitely read the comic after the show. I want to find out who is a Skrull and who isn't. Also was Fury and Maria that were dusted actually Skrulls, and how is Talos still alive even though we know he was Fury at the end of Far From Home. Rumors are that Emilia is Princess Veranke, not spoiling her importance. Can't wait for this more serious series.

I don't know that it matter if you read the comic events anyway because most of the MCU adaptations are vastly different anyway. I mean if you want to get a general idea I guess it's fine. From what I can tell Marvel use's the comics as a foundation and then changes what they want from the comics to fit what they want to do in the films.

I think you should ultimately wait for the series to end then read it Ken. I did that with Moon Knight and did alot of "oooh that's where that scene came from" while reading his origin comics. I think its more entertaining that way to see what they left out or changed

I’m excited for secret invasion, cus I wonder if the show is gonna throw us off of who could be a skrull or who isn’t, it reminds me of scream a bit like who’s ghostface 😎

This is going to be NOTHING like the comic series, other than the culmination of Skrull Empress' plans. They really don't have the budget to do the original storyline and also several key players haven't been cast or recast and that's not even being mean about it, it would just be like rings of power level budget just to get in on the ground floor. Are they gonna lure Hugh Jackman out of retirement with a kerbillion dollars and then say he was Skrull all along with his replacement actor in phase six? Nah. What I think they're going to do is scale the AMOUNT way back while keeping the same stakes. Instead of the Empress being in exile, she's going to be the voice of the Skrull, period. Talos will now be the rebel faction and pretty ragtag, considering they'll probably do IT WAS ME AUSTIN, IT WAS ME ALL ALONG with maybe three characters max, and honestly that's pushing it. It'll still be for all the marbles and the fate of earth, but it will be some powerful folks doing more espionage type stuff and surgical rebellion rather "oh hey it's civil war BUT MOAR MOAR" explosion/cg fest, and given that superhero fatigue is starting to be a real thing, that's probably the smart play. The comic series also ended pretty badly (final issues sales were a third of the start of the series) so changing the ending is also probably a very very good idea given the levels of talent they have to bring. Pretty sure we saw Kl'rt in the trailer and they turned his power levels up to 11; which again, if they have to go smaller cast but keep the big stakes is what you want to do. He and Talos will probably be the deciding votes on how everything goes down.

Haven’t heard of secret invasion yet did not know it was a thing I’ve heard of secret wars but it’s definitely not this this did not pop up in the video of all the marvel shows and movies coming out keep up the wonderful work

This is the Nick fury, that I will love to see, him being a badass, within the movies, he just been, a guy in Black and that's it, to see a Nick fury, that gets involved and kick a lot of booty, that's the Nick fury that I've wanted, since the introduction of the MCU Nick fury, someone that's two definitions of the word mad, mad as an angry and mad as in, crazy, lost his damn mind.

NO SPOILER Comic Book Secret Invasion, long story short: Badly written saga about bringing back overused characters and retconning previous bad editorial decisions. I hope the show is better, but She-Hulk killed any trust I had in the MCU.
