@@kennethmoyers1396 one of the first people besides people in the live streams to actually show respect I appreciate it brother hope this message finds you well
@@kennethmoyers1396 Shwood already talked about running out of money for employee paychecks on another podcast. I'd imagine that had way more to do with it.
@@oliversmith5130the channel’s bleeding money and Jason, along with most of the crew, was laid off because he couldn’t afford to cut checks. Look at Great Night episode 137, around 1:10:00 to hear what Brian has to say about it. It should shed some light.
I will always love you Brian. I hope the channel’s change in direction is what you wanted and what was best for everyone. It’s hard for an account to cycle through 3ish different phases and still maintain the same audience it was built on. God speed, brother
Man what happened to this channel? The quality of the content is so far from what I fell in love with from M.R. I think it's time to take old yeller out back.
Look at Great Night episode 137 starting at about 1:10:00 for an explanation. To put it briefly, the channel was bleeding money, Brian had to lay off most of the crew, including Jason, and these episodes are more or less to meet contractual quotas for sponsors. Once the contracts are up, the channel’s probably dead like SN…
Got half way through the video before I realized this was actually just about sneaker culture... and not using sneaker lingo as cover for drug deals over text.
If I remember properly the reason NBA used to require that the soles of the shoes be made of white rubber because black rubber would leave marks on the basketball court. My local rec center also had that rule.
There should be more of these. Endless content unlocked. I suggest: knife collecting culture, gun culture, new school and retro gaming culture, occult culture, drug culture, alcohol culture, car culture, book culture, skater culture, graffiti culture, drone culture, photography culture.. the posibilities are endless.
Right? I get into really niche cultures so easily, watch the one video of something, get super obsessed, research a little and then completely forget about it. Rinse and repeat with the next video on a niche subculture
@@garakthetailor more hobo culture would be awesome btw! Only what they have already taught to us is enough in its own but im hungry for hobo lore 😄 what did they eat, where, how and what boose they drank, what hustles did they have to get a dollar etc
i'm not really one for sneaker culture. i don't respect hype. i respect quality, comfort, and performance. and a price that matches that or is a deal. and the fashion even at the highest point just doesn't appeal to me. but i still am interested in learning. just to know.
the way mordern rouge uploads/starts videos with no real intro they just get into makes you feel like they just woke up started talking about something and someone clicked record like "well we need a video this week soo"
It’s more or less literally what’s happening. These videos are basically just to meet a quota for their sponsor contracts. Once those are up, the channel’s probably dead.
Maybe give the next guy the questions before the interview, so he can double check his stories/facts? I don't blame him for getting some stuff wrong if it was all from memory and without knowledge of what was going to be asked
As he is already wearing a gshock... How about a episode on them ? I only recently bought my first one, actually the same one he is wearing. A GBD-200 but in lime green. And slowly started to learn, just how many variants there are. Some with really cool features !
Collecting sneakers is problematic: some of the plastics self destruct even "new in box". I lost several sneakers and sandals when the sole turned to dust 😞
I couldn't care less if your trainers cost £1500 or £15 like the ones I own, and I've had them for 10 years and still holding up and I can tip toe without worrying if I crease them
Well you see, I think it might be about the secret language of sneaker culture. And you should care about this video exactly and precisely as much as you care about any Modern Rogue video: As much as you want to, man, they're goofs for funsies.
Man use to watch the modern rogue when they actually made things and had interesting content they really fell off I haven’t found it entertaining Poe the past year or 2
With the black Air Force ones that was a nice way of not saying gang member lol Any kind of Air Force One if you’re wearing that that shows that you are, let’s just say a part of the hip-hop community and that persuasion lol
