Laura reminds me off Sabrina from Pokémon indigo league. She is the psychic gym leader and her soul was split into a doll and an older girl. The doll dissapears when she laughed but it really reminds me of her

If you look closely, the spike is actually in the Teddy bear, and she stabs the Teddy bear, not you, so it probably is some kind of voodoo thing

Fact: Laura has a weapon. The weapon is like a sharp needle thing I really don't know, but when that sound (the sound where it kinda gets distorted, before Laura sticks that sharp needle thing) the Bear actually shaked!

Actually, Laura doesn't stab you, she stabs the bear with the spike, which kills you. The bear is kind of like a voodoo doll which causes the player to feel pain when the bear gets stabbed. Also, I don't think the teddy bear is possessing her, but instead she is possessing the bear.

Some fun facts: Laura's theme is the same as the music in Lab You were correct about the bear controlling Laura When killing the player, Laura stabs the teddy bear as it is connected to a Voodoo doll, and our soul is inside that doll, so when she stabs the doll, we die.
