Scar happily talking with grian as a warden comes into shot chasing etho is probably the funniest thing ive ever seen

Never seen a more functional long distance relationship as grian and joel sending eachother hearts from across the server.

Crazy how grian not jumping over a campfire led to mumbo going from yellow to dead in one episode

the shot with scar talking, blissfully oblivious, then turning around and seeing the warden is pure. gold.

As challenging as this task was, it's still nowhere near as challenging as preventing Scar from taking more than 3 hearts of damage by the end of the session.

We not goin to talk bout the fact Grian almost single handedly took Mumbo out the game

the fact that scar is still green is a miracle

Scar's hard task: Get people to call grian a nickname Grian & Etho's hard task: *4 dead, 2 red names eliminated*

Watching Etho run over the hill with a warden chasing him, while Grian makes small talk with Scar was the highlight of my week.

The perfect cut to Mumbo making that helmet was gold. This episode was mad

For how much death happened in one session, the chaos of the Wither vs. Warden was just so funny. Running around trying to find the Wither, Scar's just chanting "help" and running around. dkshg

Seeing Mumbo enthusiastically declaring himself as Grian's butler mere moments after he receives the most lethal task of Secret Life so far is so hilarious to me.

40:45 is the scene that made this episode. just...scar obliviously chatting while grian unmovingly looks behind him at Etho, running from the Warden, even after BigB shouts. perfection.

The fact that Grian did all of this on one heart is blowing my mind

Genuinely hilarious that every time Grian looked over to the Wither it was, without fail, chasing Scar.

Honestly, making the wither and a warden fight is something Grian and Etho would do for fun. Also, Grian's death is quite poetic.

The looming dread in both Etho's and Grian's episodes while doing their tasks and knowing they have no choice but to doom the server with it is such GREAT unintentional storytelling (Mumbo's task too!). Watching the second half of everyone else's episodes is so dramatic after watching these first. The fiction is writing itself, and it's playing out like a movie. It's so great!

Absolutely killed me how throughout the whole episode we were looking at the other people doing their goofy shenanigans and Grian and Etho being confused by it while they were literally plotting the end of the world.

I know you guys probably don’t take suggestions for the next series but I have an idea: Cramped Life. The world border starts at a fraction of its normal size and players can do different tasks to expand it. At the end of the session, the border shrinks but can get no smaller than it was at the start of the season. The border also shrinks if someone dies or a Red completes their task.

This all happened because Grian don't jump over a campfire.

Grian and Etho single-handedly removed all red players and also technically increased their kill count to higher than anyone without trying

Task idea: Arrange a funeral for the fallen players, have the fallen players write their own eulogies, you have to say exactly what they wrote verbatim. Sing them a heartfelt song at the end of the funeral. You are only allowed to tell 1 person about the event, but can’t tell them to pass it along.. The goal is to have everyone attend without hearing it from you.

From a storytelling standpoint, this is a cinematic masterpiece. Everything in the video that led up to the climax so perfectly complimented the story.

The shot of the Warden appearing behind scar was fantastic, Grian. Well done.

The fact that scar miraculously survived a wither following him around for almost the entire fight is somehow more surprising than anything else that could have happened this episode

I finally thought of a secret task suggestion! "A fallen red name hasn't been able to move on to the afterlife due to unfinished regrets and is haunting you. You have to complete their last red task to succeed. Their last task, before they died was: XY"

The foreshadowing with Mumbo's attempted guesses for Etho & Grian's tasks. Wow.

It's poetic that the inability to press a button smoothly killed Grian, the master of pressing buttons.

Secrete Task Suggestion. Give EVERYONE the same task. Have the task be "act and do as sketchy and weird as possible. Get at least 3 people to question you and you succeed". Pretty much be BigB and gaslight everyone. Wasn't the first time this was suggested but imagine the chaos if EVERYONE had this.

Mumbo challenging Martyn to jump over a campfire butterfly effecting the end of Mumbos Secret Life series is something else.

Task: you are now allergic to the color gray, you can not touch any block, entity, or player that has the color gray on it. Ex: stone, bedrock, grian (pants are gray)

Task idea: everyone can guess your task, however, you don’t have one. Your only goal is to not get called out. You succeed at the end of the session or when everyone has guessed.

Im calling it, Mumbo nearly guessing Grain and Etho's task is gonna be made into an animation lol. The long defining silence as Grain and Etho slowly turn and stare at each other was pure comedy

For you who didn't watch Mumbo's POV he jad the task to be Grian's butler and do everything Grian says but making a small mistake in Grian's order. So that is why he sat on the strider, because Grian said not to

Etho's 'did that make you jump?' at the end is so hilarious

To save Mumbo, it was possible for Grian to break a portion of the bridge to let Mumbo ride the strider. Quick thinking is hard, though, so I understand.

Mumbo being so happy he didn’t fall into the lava only to dive head first into lava immediately after is amazing

The entire part of grian trying to get mumbo off the strider safely was like watching a movie scene of people trying to get a soldier off a landmine

I love how mumbo got so close to guessing the tasks of you and Etho 😂

How Ren was able to stay alive while being on one heart that whole time while being in the fight doesn’t stop being surprising to me

Grian continuing to make the ladders even though Mumbo's dead whilst trying to gaslight himself into thinking Mumbo's still alive is movie material ( 20:11 )

Mumbo would have saved so many lives by guessing Grian's or Etho's tasks. No idea how it would have worked with only one of them.

I love the irony that the server got so much safer after unleashing a warden and wither -went from 4 reds to 1

The amount of dread I felt as Grian and Etho summoned the Warden was something I haven’t felt when watching a Minecraft video before. The chaos in this session is probably more than all 5 previous sessions combined. Also, JIMMY’S NOT OUT FIRST! 🎉

Watching their tasks unfold from Joel's perspective was so funny. He goes underground to grind some zombies and when he comes up it's just complete and utter chaos without any warning

I started shaking and my heart rate went up like crazy when Etho began to summon the Warden. I’ve never felt more excited and anxious in my life!! 😂

Grian's calm conversation with Scar as the Warden approaches was a pure "Ryan Reynolds Oblivion NPC dialogue" meme. Laughed so hard 🤣

When Scar, Scott, Gem or Bdubs get a hard task - Nicknames, good deeds and winning the game. When Grian and Etho get a hard task - Map ruined, game broken, everyone injured, several dead, two eliminated.

I can't wait to see the art and animation that comes from this. Especially that fight scene

There aren't enough red tasks! The reds should have to build a christmas tree and convince a green to light it, but have fireworks go off in their faces instead of the tree

Task Idea: You are open to a second opinion this session. When you are attempting to do something, ANYTHING, you must first ask the nearest green name. The way you "ask" can be different. You can use "Can I?" "Should I?" "Would I?" etc. You don't have to follow what they say, you just have to ask first. If there are no green names present in your general area that you see of, you don't have to ask anyone anything and you can just directly do it. You only fail if yellow names correctly guess the fact that you are getting a second opinion from GREEN NAMES specifically. You can bait yellows by also asking yellow or red names this session as well. You also fail if you forget to "ask" more than 5 times this session. ------------------------ Some Examples for Admins : + Can I cut this tree? - Yes, you can. ------ + Can I cut this tree? - Yes, you can. + (*Doesn't cut the tree*) --- + Can I craft a crafting table? - No, you can't. + (*Crafts anyway*) ------------------------------- The number of "strikes" can be adjusted to 3, kept at 5 or increased to 10. I don't know how hard this task is going to be, so I am leaving that adjustment to the admins. It can be any number.

Server wide task for next session: repair the damage done by the wither and warden showdown and hold a memorial service for the lost reds.

Task suggestion: Hide this book in someone else's base or within 50 blocks of any base. It must be accessible without breaking any blocks. You may remove it and hide it somewhere else as often as you want, but you are not allowed to carry it around with you for more than a couple of minutes. If another player finds and reads this book, you fail.

Grian and Etho's destinies are bound together by a String. Mumbo got tangled up in it and is now being dragged along

Poor Mumbo, but also really sad that there's nothing in place for the eliminated. I wish Mumbo could still participate in some way. Like, he no longer has tasks, but gets to just hang around as much as he wants to build, help and talk. I mean... I'm gonna miss Mumbo for the rest of this series.

The sceen, where Grian was talking to Scar while the Warden was slowly coming over the hill, was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

How long Grian managed to survive on half a heart, then only one heart, while all those shenanigans were going on, was just impressive. To top it off, being shot while he pressed the button is just incredible story telling! Screw the 'script', no way this could've been written more incredible than how it happened by skill and accident! 😮

Secret Task Idea: Sing a duet with another player without planning it with them or letting them know before hand.

I love how at 11:38 the painting on the wall partially depicts what is to come.

Grian hitting the button as he died was the most dramatic thing i have ever witnessed. Best episode of secret life without a doubt.

I think Mumbo could have saved himself by digging through the bridge to get back on the strider. But the situation was way too stressful to think of that immediately.

task suggestion: you are now the Secret Life Bandit. your job is to steal from at least three bases and leave a sign saying 'This theft brought to you by the Secret Life Bandit'. However the items you steal have to be something noticeable and not just out of someone's chest. For example, stealing all of the windows from someone's base or stealing the empty space of the base by filling it with dirt or water. You fail if caught or called out before successfully carrying out at least three thefts.

I have an Idea for a task. Try and convince ONE person to give you their boots. (I'm not sure about this bit) And the one person you can't ask to give their boots to you is SCAR
