My MAIN worry with this mentality is that Indian youth will go down the same path as their Western counter parts. I.e..placing financial success and material well being as the MUST HAVE for mental well being. Just look at the West, depression and suicide rates and drug addiction are the highest in the rich and wealthy.

Exposure to such harsh reality will make a person very difficult handle. No respect to authorities, law, kindness, etc.

Poverty can be driven only when poor thinks that we should comeup.. This poverty is also b.coz lazyness, free privilages quotas offered by dirty politics. Basic amenities, & a push from govt to progress is needed. But not make them live in slum misuse them for goodaism, & illegal activities. This poverty will not leave a country until acting State or Central Govt plans effectively, provide them good shulter & a job of their caliber. Basic education should be made compulsory for all poor downtrodden. If poverty prevails in a State or country that shows failure of Govt governance. Which ever Govt may be the fact is utter failure of the Govt only. When u able loot money of public that means the thief is ruling party & the opposition. If a Govt thinks it can eradicate poverty within 6 to one year in a State & Centre. But unfortunately both competitively loot the people of their own Nation..shameful
