They should have it so Pikachu can evolve with a fire stone and a water stone (which would make it Evee's counterpart even more). The fire stone can make gorochu a fire/electric Pokemon.
There’s actually something INCREDIBLY interesting about a possible new form for Celesteela. Look at the logo for legends ZA, look familiar? What if Celesteela is going to play the role of the antagonist with some crazy new form, maybe it will be expanded upon and recontextualize to be something entirely new, it’s just incredibly interesting in my opinion, and raises a lot of fun questions.
But Celesteela is an ultra beast... a creature brought into the pokemon world from another dimension... Most of them popped over when the bad guys of that game were messing with rifts. Of course there is nothing stopping them from having rifts that existed on their own...
@@KitsuneNeko weren’t there space time rifts from when Arceus brought the player over to hisui? Of course, that’s assuming that ZA starts the same way.
The ancient Cetoddle would not be a paradox Pokemon because it would come from our universe and our past, it would just be an ancient Pokemon. It is basically confirmed in the cutscene with the professor in Kitakami that they come from an alternate timeline and universe, meaning that the paradox is that they exist in our universe when they shouldn't. You wouldn't call Aerodactyl a paradox Pokemon.
Don’t forget about the alleged dogs that were trapped in a fire and tuned into legendary Pokémon by ho-oh, we don’t know if they were the eeveelutions or not as far as I know
Regarding Cetoddle and Paradox Pokemon, it has been revealed via the secret ending in Pokemon SV DLC with the real professor (Turo/Sada) that the Paradox Pokemon are coming from different timelines. So this Dex entry for Cetoddle can't refer to a Paradox version of it since the Paradox Pokemon aren't actually from the same world as the main Pokemon world, which means that it has to be an ancient Regional form in the same vein as Pokemon Legends Arceus.
I felt more that paradox pokemon were created by the system trying to "guess" what a current pokemon would look like if it was from the past or future. So they both exist and never existed at the same time.
Probably an ancestral form... I mean, Cetoddle and Cetitan are Narewhals... Goes great with Garchomp, honestly, Land Whale and Land Shark... But... The legends Games USUALLY feature past variants. So maybe we'll eventually see it... perhaps If we ever get an Alaska, Russia, or Greenland based region.
The new celesteela form might be the "A" legend of Legends ZA. Celesteela looks like the ultimate weapon and shaped like the letter A. Code name: Blaster (like the ultimate weapon).
Mega Jinx is an all-around quite weird one. Since wasn’t the intention originally to keep Jinx in the same vein as Electabuzz and Magmar? (Getting prevos and evos at the same time, etc.) I’d’ve thought if they wanted to rehabilitate Jinx it’d be in that similar vein but those two don’t have megas and it doesn’t sound like an evolution. I’m a fan of Jinx being revisited but kinda wish they’d go back to that trio
After the accusations against Jinx that led to its redesign, the brand has more and more tried to distance itself from Jinx. Which is honestly a shame.
"Disturb not the harmony of Fire, Ice, or Lightning" which they did 😓 They'll either need to make an Ice/Ghost region variant form based off of a valkyrie with an evolution or they'll have to make a new humanoid Ice type with the same bells and whistles as Magmar & Electabuzz
yeah imo I honestly dp think that the Japanese creators or Pokemon didn't realize of the blackface jynx controversy. It wouldn't surprise me to hear they didn't know what blackface was esp since in the 90s the internet wasnt like it is today. Tbh I didn't know what blackface was till recently when a YTuber i watched was accused of blackface during 2020 cancel culture movement.
why do you call out a Paradox Cetoddle as an ancient version? we know that the Paradox Pokémon aren't from the same timeline a Cetoddle ancestor would be quite different from a Paradox Cetoddle
The Dex entry to me suggests that Cetoddle is a variant of Wailmer kind of like how Wigglet is a variant if Digglet, at least that's the way i interpreted it. I think it's meant to mean that a aubset of Wailmer evolved over time and started living on land and eventually became what we know as Cetoddle
The jynx deal was probably them backing out on releasing it because she use to be controversial. And fun fact celesteela is my least fav of all pkmn because it reminds me of a miserable fever dream I had as a child. Cetitian is my fav gen 9 pkmn
Just giving an idea: couldn’t cetoddle just be a land wailmer? Explaining why it says “it’s closely related to wailmer” when we already know it’s a whale
I think that the cetoddle fact you gave in this video kinda gives me maybe a hint to legands za imean this is possible in my opinion as it could be a new form In za and gen 9 pokemon haven’t got any past forms in games so maybe thier get thier first regional verint in ZA
I have a thought about unanswered questions. In the Indigo Disk DLC. When talking to the head of the school, you find out that the Blueberry academy is "attached to an undersea plant that develops natural resources." To my knowledge, this is never talked about again. I was expecting it to be part of the story but nothing. Yet another plant in pokemon that seems to have significance but never discussed.
1:53 I have known about this one for years! Maybe for all these years, they have been saving it for a new game with Megas coming back, and Pokemon Legends: Z-A is that game! Fingers crossed!
Ild hope more for a full on jynx evo personally. To go along with magmar and electabuz finally. And ild hope for us to finally get a pinsir evo we so deserve. Maybe weepinbells sunstone evo too.
I was hoping they would do the Beta Jynx and have them be the male form of Jynx. I imagine its still Ice type because of it being an oni similar to a yeti or ice monster of sorts.
A pokemon like you've never seen before could be like a Pikachu dressed up, example like a picture of your mom/dad/bro/sis like you've never seen before.
Regarding Celesteela, the idea of it having a pre evolution. The Ultra Beasts are basicallu pokemon from another dimesion, and given that Poipole can evolve this means they Ultra Beasts are capable of evolution. So, what if the UBs we get (Celesteela, Gyzzlord, Buzzwole etc...) are just the FINAL forms, which is why they can't evolve. Like if pokemon like Dragonite, Flygon, Metagross all dropped into another world. They're already very strong pokemon as is so, what if they're just the final stage of an evolution line? So a tiny "Celesteela" that looks like a bamboo shoot could exist in it's native world, we're just only seeing and obtaining the very strong final form.
A perfect example of Pokémon we never get to see is: the native kalos Pokémon that existed 3000 years before the Great War and before the time yveltal died and absorbed the life force of all of kalos, leaving it in a fallout state. While xerneas could revive some of those Pokémon (the 72 that we know of since generation 6 and hopefully we see several hundreds more in Pokémon legends z-a) the food was scarce that time and the rest perished from the fighting for food That idea would have been perfect for a legends game based on kalos in a very ancient time. But since kalos was already taken for Pokemon legends z-a and it’s timeline is in the days of lumiose redevelopment (which is set tons of years beyond the ancient kalos idea or even the events of Pokemon x and y) all of those Pokémon are definitely included as Pokémon we never get to see😢😢
7:58 The same generation says that Yungoos isn't native to the Alola region and was brought over from a region we haven't seen yet. This alongside Copperajah an Indian elephant and Quaxly, who's final stage is a peacock, seems to suggest there is an India or southeast Asia based region that exists somewhere in the Pokémon world.
Hey how is everyone doing btw I playing a randomized pokemon ruby game with everything from gen 1 to 8 also it is supposed to be really hard so wish me luck
Whoever programs the fames and software for them is known to drag a bunch of random shit in future games. There are lists on Bulbapedia for all sorts of Key Items that exist in games released years later. Maybe it's to make sure they don't delete any data structure they still need, or for compatibility - who knows?
I’m pretty sure the Jynx cry was added during the home updates for isle of armour/crown tundra so I doubt it’s for a mega, probably a scrapped regional for Gen 8.
Wait... I swear I just saw someone else post this exact video, not long ago lol. Also, can people start saying "Z to A" because that's the intended title of the new game.
