I'm 63 and this just made me cry. I met my 'best friend' when I was 19 and she 16. We married after 5 years dating and, this Sunday is our 38th wedding anniversary. Now our kids are long grown up and with partners we can now do the crazy travel stuff just like you guys...but perhaps without the same energy and photography skills. Hope you guys have a wonderful life together.

Haha! I totally love and connect with your love story! I finished by senior year of architecture in Paris (through Georgia Tech). My girlfriend and I had been serious for 3 years by then. I took a ring with me, but had to wait 3 months before she came over to visit. As soon as she dropped off her luggage at my apartment, we went straight for the Eiffel Tower ... with the ring in my pocket. She said YES! and then we toured Paris and Italy for 2 weeks! We got married 7 months later once I got back from finishing the rest of that school year in Paris. Been happily married for 27 years, with two amazing teenage kids! After all we've been through (like your stories of sickness and loss) I'm now more in love my wife than ever. God bless you both in your marriage! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I've told my two teenage boys .. just travel.. dont even think about careers until your 25 and if you can work out a way to be free .. create an income online and don't look back.

Love your story. I fell in love with my wife within weeks of when we first met, fast forward 36 years we've been married for 34 with 2 children and 1 beautiful grandson. My wife is still my best friend and everytime we are separated I look forward to returning to her. I can see the 2 of you 34 years from now still having adventures and loving each other.
