Another small tip, the long range boosted attack you get by hitting double, when you use it and start dashing towards the target, you can premeturley use bullet punch or dual wing beat and right when you hit the move will auto trigger, you can see Cris doing this at 4:20

A similar technique exists for Scyther as well, but honestly, Scizor is the way to go for a more fun experience right now

@@rionaldodwiputrayudistira3660Idk of this is what he’s talking about, but you can also cancel Scyther’s initial Dual Wingbeat animation by using the first part of Dual Wingbeat and immediately using Double Hit after, allowing you to jump whilst attacking with Dual Wingbeat’s X. This combo paired with the second hit of Dual Wingbeat and the Double Hit auto pretty much deletes any squishy

I find double hit super fun especially when i get my full stacks up and can gank squishy damage dealers in the backline. It's so satisfying to dominate a lane because of bullet punch damage and sustain. Im currently using scizor on my nuzlocke account

As a scizor main this is one of the most useful things to know and honestly you can kind of do the same thing with scyther it just looks really weird and most of the time you hit the center of dual wingbeat too so it's a somewhat easy way to pull of the double hit dual wingbeat then execute combo

FINALLY! SOMEBODY SAID IT!! I've talked about this tech in comments for SO LONG and finally a content creator says it in a video! Btw, this tech also works on both hits of Dual Wingbeat, albeit a lot more finicky and a little less useful.

Tip from a top 300 tsareena, always choose movement over attack. I have scizors blue and double hit is definitely the way to go, learn how to use double hit with structures on the map to create barriers and space. You also need to know how to use his dash on spawn and opposing Pokémon to flip over them to either create space or help fight stronger Pokémon in a team fight.

this game was painful to watch and the exact kind of teammates i always get people legit just trying to kill ray when theres all 5 enemies alive, dumbest people alive i swear and when all you have to do is defend at the end theyre absolutely incapable of it. always walking away to get a kill, farming for no reason, trying to score when in the lead and abandoning a base its just unreal how bad most of the playerbase is and i cannot comprehend it, im going insane

I've been using that technique with double hit Scizor yeah. Swords Dance is still good tho, it's still really nice to have Swords Dance plus in team fights.

I main Scyther, and double hit on it has so much funny interaction, that people didnt realize, and got me to masters 1600, because even high ranked doesnt know that I can extend double hit do far. with both the first cast and the second cast of dual wingbeat. (If you double hit into 2nd activation of dual wing beat you get instant resets on both - if you kill the enemy with it)

Hey Cris. What are your thoughts on using 6 Brown, 6 White and 6 Blue emblems on scizor? Considering his boosted Def buff. It gets max of 200 passive hp, but the 8% defence seems nice.

I swear half my games my team just ignores Ray to backcap and the other half they just try to do it fast 5v5. Only a small ammount of games end in coordinated Ray fights. Its beyond frustrating how so many players just have No clue whats going on, atleast on my team

Scizor, buzzswole and mewtwo are probably the best to climb right now. Scizor has lots of survivability, buzzswole is great in lane and mewtwo is probably the strongest jungle pokemon right now.
